DEMI

I am having the worst time ever. I am stuck with all my friends. I am surprised to know that they still consider me as their friend even after 4 months of radio silence.

"I think Devin is interested in me", Carol says.

"Yeah, I know. The way he looks at you makes it so obvious", Hannah nods.

I have never been so disinterested in a conversation. As if talking about boys is something worthwhile.

"What do you think Demi", she gives me a sympathetic look

How did I ever put up with her?

"Yeah sure. He must be interested in you", my voice couldn't sound more dead.

"Ohhh, Demi! Look at you. You are so depressed", she looks at me in sympathy again.

Oh shut up bitch, I think.

"I'm okay", I say.

"Are you sure darling"? her voice sounds sickly sweet.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I think I should go now"

"You know we understand what you are going through", she looks at me in pity again.

If I don't leave now, I'll probably end up in a juvenile home for killing her.

"Yeah, thanks. I gotta go", I say and I quickly get out of the place.

Whew - that was painful to even listen to that crap, I think.

I get out of the place and walk straight for a few minutes.

Where am I going?

I don't know.

Maybe I'll just keep walking.

The wound in my foot hurt a bit but I continue to walk.

I walk to where my legs lead me.

Walk walk walk

To where there is light

Walk walk walk

To where there is love

Walk to a place

Where I fall into a daze

Walk to a world

Where I can be unfurled

I shake my head.

Ughhhh.

Did I just make up those lines?

That was pathetic even for me.

I stop thinking when I see where my legs lead me to.

Her school

Georgina's school

My dead sister's school

I stand outside debating with myself if I should go in. I stare at the people standing around the place.

Should I go in?

Am I ready to take it?

As I thought about it, my eyes locked around a pair of brown eyes looking intently at me.
