Sneak Peek:
I never saw him anymore. The only time I really saw him was at school, but our parents switched us from all the classes we had together. It was hard to even catch a glimpse of him, but here he was now. Standing in the middle of the hallway, looking right at me. "Chres" I said, smiling a little. Okay, so I ran. I ran to him and people saw, but I didn't care because I missed him.
"Hey" he greeted, when my arms wrapped around his neck and my legs around his waist. "I missed you, Jacob". I didn't know I was crying until I let a mournful sob escape the back of my throat, my face pressed against his shirt.
"I missed you, too" I whispered, "so much, Chresanto". I kissed him, our lips morphing into a perfect kiss. I still had the same amount of adoration for him as I had when we first began to date. Nothing had changed. "It's not fair".
His fingers brushed against my back, moving in soothing circles. "I know" he murmured, his voice wavering as he choked back his own tears. My eyes closed shut, wondering why this had to happen to us, "and I'm so sorry".

So I've been meaning to start writing a new book since I've just about finished writing Hamartia. This is another Royce book because I mean, come on. Royce is amazing. I've been in a writing slump for a while, no ideas coming to mind for a good while, and I'm honestly not one hundred percent sure about this book that is kind of a spin-off of Romeo and Juliet, but I hope it gets somewhere. The first chapter will be posted when the prologue gets a good about of reads. I hope you stick around to see where this book leads. Thank you!
