Jacob's P.O.V.

"You should've got his number" Elijah groaned, referring to Chresanto. It's been a week since we've both encountered him in Mi Amour. "He was so... Oh my God".

I smiled, "we'll see him again, Elijah".

He looked at me, "how are you so sure?"

My lips turned into a small grin, I wasn't so sure I'd see him again, actually. I wanted to of course, the boy was beautiful.... He sparked my interest the minute I laid my eyes on him, although Elijah received the prize of seeing his gorgeous features before I could. I knew I should've wiped down the corner just before I left instead of doing it sooner. I was wishing on pure luck that Chresanto would walk into Mi Amour on the day I would be working, all Elijah and I had received from him was his name. I wanted to know more about him, how old he was, what tasks he did on his free time, I would even go about asking him what his favorite meal was. I had never been this curious about a customer before, and I admit, it shocked me.

"What if he's not even thinking about us?" Elijah suddenly asked, my eyes landed on the phone that was in his hands, his fingers a blur as they tapped away on the screen. "Or more specifically you, I saw the way he looked at you when you went to make him his tea. He looked at your ass".

A light blush crept to my cheeks, "did he now?"

Elijah chuckled, "totally, he wants you".

"He's a stranger, Elijah..."

"You have to start somewhere, boo" he said simply, "I hope we see him again".

I didn't say anything as I stretched myself out on his bed, a long pause of silence filled through the both of us, except for Elijah's fingers against his phone screen. "Who could you possibly be texting right now?" I asked.

"No one" he answered quickly, way too quickly. It seemed that he noticed his mistake when he grimaced, he looked at me. "I'm talking to a guy".

"Well I knew that, Elijah".

"You know that... Um... Boy who sits two seats in front of you? In our bio class?" He asked curiously.

I furrowed my eyebrows, "Aaron?" I watched Elijah perk up, nodding. "But... But... Aaron's a man whore!" I exclaimed.

"He is not!" Elijah replied, folding his arms over his chest.

"He tried to get with me a month ago". I bit my lip as I let that little secret float into the air, I rubbed the back of my neck. I sighed at the expression Elijah was sending my way, he looked devastated. "That's when I started talking to him, around a month ago..." He muttered, he set his phone down, frowning. "Did you guys... Do anything? I mean, I know it's none of my business, but..."

I shook my head a little, "no, nothing happened. I mean, he tried..."

"Well that's just great!" He said sarcastically, "okay.... So maybe he is a man whore.... But Jacob, I really like him because he actually talks to me" he explained, I could see the tears collecting at the brim of his eyes. "No one else does that".

"I do" I said, I sat up.

"Okay, yeah, but Jacob, you don't like me in that way, and I don't like you in that way, either".

"Seriously? You're always calling me hot and boo".

"I call everyone boo".

I sighed, "you shouldn't attach yourself to someone just because they talk to you in the way you want them to. You gotta find someone that matches your personality, Aaron's arrogant and cocky, and you're not really like that... I'm pretty sure he's just using you... I may be wrong, but just be careful".
