Nicole

The sphere where I am in suddenly jolt causing me to wake up.

I wiped my mouth and blink a couple of times. I didn't know I dozed off, and I' still alive, lucky me.

I moved my hands, it numbed when I fall asleep on it. I looked around to find nothing because of the darkness inside the ball.

I yawned and lie down on my back while I spread my limbs on the empty spaces doing imaginary snow angels.

The floor is smooth...

I stopped feeling the floor when I heard voices on the other side. I couldn't understand it but I know the voice belongs to a woman, and she's not alone.

I feel the floor to search for a wall or something and pressed my ear on it.

The ball suddenly disappeared, causing me to fall on the stoned ground. Ouch.

The place is like an ancient fortress in ruins with those stone-wood interiors or maybe I spent too much time on games...

People with robes surround me and began talking one by one. One grabbed my arms and yanked me up.

"Hey! Watch it, I'm delicate like a baby,"  I snatched my arms away. That made them alert because the others backed away and ready themselves to pounce.

The person who grabbed me raised their hand and said something in the same language I heard. The others calmed down and went back to surround me.

They remind of NPCs in a game, messing with them all the time.

"Hehehe," Wonder if the will react the same if I run around–no, Nicole, the first objective is to survive to this kind of pla–"What was that?!" I point out the random stone wall.

I know it's a dumb move, I mean who'll fall for that? Good one Reese.

They quickly looked at the wall I'm pointing on. I  immediately slip past them and ran in the opposite direction. How I love people like that, I could hug them if it wasn't for these kidnapping.

The same person who grabbed me shouted something and the others quickly move.

I tried to climb one of the huge debris, successfully climbed on it, and able to view the place.

One of them starts to climb up. Oh, they can climb now? Really? Darn. They called for more reinforcements too.

I rubbed my forehead and quickly look around. If I go to the woods I can disappear there...I can use the stone stage in the middle if I need another boost...okay, here goes nothing.

I walked backward and hit of running until I'm at the edge and jumped.

I closed my legs pull it up near my chest as I put my arms on either side of my legs "My name is John Cena!" I extended my legs so my boots connect to one of them in the chest and roll on my back, my puffer jacket made it less painful to roll on the stoned floor.

I quickly get up, hearing the person groans. I just did that?! Oh my goodness I just did that! "Did anybody see that?! That's sick!"

That added to my adrenaline, my body is pulsing with energy, like a sugar rush. They stopped and looked at me and then proceed to run towards me.

Come on! that's so cool! Ah, whatever, they saw it anyway.

I'm almost out when a hand grabbed my jacket and yanked me back, it was forceful that it send me rolling back.

"Ah!" I rolled like a bowling ball and hit the stone stage in the middle of the place. I pushed myself to stand up but I'm still a kid! My body was damaged enough.

The distance decreases. I stand up and use the stoned stage to assist myself as I use my legs to pull myself up. This freaking hurts!

I gave my all to move as quickly as I could, going up on the small stair of the stage, falling at some point, and then back on pushing again.

I've reached my body's limit and collapse in the middle. My body hurts everywhere, I even felt an iron taste in my mouth.

I looked at the robed people to see them stopped in front, not moving an inch and perfectly aligned with each other horizontally.

I looked at the opposite side of the stage, behind me, to see a huge image carved in stone, look like what we saw in the heart of the city, with weird markings on it.

Of course, robed people in the ancient ruins are always a red sign for cults!

I facepalmed myself and groan. Nicole you dumbass.
