Isabella's POV:

I woke up, once again, to Andre's alarm. It was probably been going off for five minutes before I finally decided to march over to his room. I stomped next door and banged on the door. The door opened and revealed a sick looking Andre.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"Do I look okay? I've been throwing up since three this morning." he whined.

"Do you want me to stay home with you?" I questioned. Andre always made me feel better, so I wanted to be here to make him feel better too.

"I doubt Leo would let you, but sure." he told me before walking over to his bed and flopping down.

I walked downstairs and found Dante in the kitchen with Gianni. Dante was examining Gianni's shoulder and then took the sling off. I walked over to them and put my best puppy dog eyes on.

"Where's Leo?" I asked.

"He had to go to work last night and won't be coming home until dinner." Dante told me, while eyeing me suspiciously.

"Oh okay, I need to ask you something though." he looked at me expectantly, "Andre and I both have come down with a stomach bug. Can we please stay home?" I pleaded. He looked at me warily before speaking.

"You know I'm a doctor, right?" he asked me. He was obviously not believing my lie. "So, would you like to tell me the truth?"

"Fine, Andre is sick and I would like to stay with him." I tell him. I looked at my elder brother, who looked like he was weighing his options.

"I'll call the school, but you should know that Leonardo probably won't be happy." he said as he walked over to the phone to call the school. Gianni came over and whispered to me.

"I can't believe he said yes. You realize that all of our brothers have a soft spot for you, right?" I nodded my head and made my way upstairs, sadly I was stopped by Dante before I reached the first step.

"Oh, by the way, Eva is also sick, so she won't be coming today. You'll have to cook your own food." he told me. I shrugged my shoulders. I didn't need Eva to make me food, I was perfectly capable of making my own food.

I walked back up to Andre's room and entered. He was no longer in his bed, but on the bathroom floor leaning against the toilet.  I swiftly walked over to him.

"Are you okay?" I asked.

"No." he groaned. I helped him up, his 6'1 height towering at least 9 inches over me, then led him back to his bed.

"Alright, I'm going to go and get you some toast." I tell him, he nodded his head and I went to complete the task at hand.

After I finished making his toast I walked upstairs with some Gatorade also. I handed him the food before walking into his bathroom, and drawing him a bath. I told him there was a bath waiting for him after he finished his food and that I was going back into my room.

I walked into my bedroom and threw on a comfortable set of clothes consisting of a white sweatshirt that reached just past my butt and a pair of spandex. I tied my hair up in a messy bun and pulled some fluffy socks on. I laid down in my bed and turned my tv onto Netflix. I flipped through until I found my favorite tv show, the Originals. My favorite character is Elijah, because for him family is everything. He looks out for his family and does what is best for them.

I was watching tv for an hour before Andre came over. In this light I could see that he was the youngest brother because he sometimes acted like a baby. He laid on one side of my bed and I laid on the other. Then he decided to play a game of tug-a-war over the covers. Fortunately, for him, I let him have the blankets. We both eventually fell asleep.

About an hour later the door downstairs slammed shut. I heard a couple of voices and made my way downstairs. Leo was standing in the doorway with a familiar man, Vincenzo, Damiano's father. When the steps made a creaking sound their conversation ceased. Suddenly, Leo popped in front of me.

"What the hell are you doing at home?" he seethed. He looked so angry, I was almost shaking with fear.

"Andre is sick and I wanted to stay home with him." I responded.

"Who gave you permission?" he interrogated. I didn't want to rat out Dante, but I was a little too intimidated by Leonardo.

"Dante." I squeaked out. He nodded his head and motioned for me to go to my room. I quickly ran up to my room, as soon as I entered I regretted it though. I could hear Andre puking in my bathroom.

My day had gone like that all day. Andre throwing up, me cleaning up after him. Leo never came upstairs and lectured me. In fact, I heard him leave at about 2 o'clock and he hasn't returned. Gianni had gotten me all my assignments that I had missed, so I was currently sitting on my bed doing all the work.

It was currently 9 o'clock at night and I was laying around when my phone starting ringing. It once again said 'Unknown' so I picked it up, guessing that it was Damiano. Unfortunately, I wasn't right.

"Hello?" I giggled, expecting a snarky comment from Damiano, but that's not what I got.

"Isabella. Oh, Isabella. You'll be mine soon." a deep accented voice spoke.

"Who is this?" I questioned.

"You'll know soon." the voice spoke once again begin hanging up.

The voice sent shivers down my spine, and not the good kind. I was scared, really scared. I raced downstairs, tears pricking my eyes. I raced into the kitchen but no one was there. I then ran to the living room. Gianni was sitting on the couch watching television, but immediately stopped as soon as I ran in. He took in my appearance and stood up.

"What's wrong sorellina?" he frantically asked.

"I-I got a-a phone call." I choked through my sobs.

"Who was it?" he said, his eyes darken in a threatening way.

"I don't know. I think he told me we would be meeting soon." I told my brother.

"What did he sound like? Did he have an accent?" Gianni demanded.

"Yeah." I remembered.

"What did it sound like? Did it sound Russian?" he asked once again. I thought about it before nodding my head once again.

"Alright give me your phone." I handed him my phone and then he called someone in. Marco, Flavio, and Piero walked into the house.

"I'm going to go talk to Leonardo and Alessio. Marco, Piero, and Flavio will stay here with you." Gianni gave me a kiss on the forehead and told me he would be back. He raced out of the door. I was too scared to go to sleep, so I just rested on the couch. Piero was trying to cheer me up, but nothing was working. I had a terrible feeling in my gut that something was going to go horribly wrong.
