Chapter 19

Isabella's POV:

I walked out of my history class and over to the car where Piero and Gianni were waiting for me. Andre was with Jake right now and was most likely staying at his house. I had just made it to the car when my phone started buzzing. I looked down at the caller ID and saw that it displayed Damiano's number. I swiftly answered the call.

"Hey" I greeted. 

"Hey Bella. I was wondering what you were doing tonight." he responded.

"Um. Some chemistry homework, some math homework. Oh, let's not forget my history homework." I laughed, "Why do you ask?"

"I wondering if you finally wanted to go on another date?"

"Um, yeah. I would love to go on another date. Where and when is this date happening?" I inquired.

"I was thinking that I could take you to the zoo and then we can go get some food. What do you think?"

"I think that that is a lovely idea. What time should I be expecting you?"

"Around 5pm. I will be picking you up from your house too."

"What?" I questioned. Dante never said that Leo was cool with me seeing Damiano. He just said that he would talk to him.

"Apparently Leonardo said that he was fine with me taking you on some dates." he remarked. I could literally hear the smirk through the phone. 

"Really? That's great. That's amazing. I guess I'll see you when you pick me up." 

"Bye Bella."

After Damiano and I hung the phone up I realized that I had been standing outside the car for a while. Gianni opened the car door and stuck his head out. 

"Are you going to stay out here all day sorellina?" he asked. "Why is your face like that?"

"Like what?" I asked before rubbing my face, thinking there was food on it. 

"Like you're the cat that ate the damn canary." he said before morphing his face into a large smile to mimic me.

"Whatever. I have to do some homework right now." I told him as I sat beside him in the car. I pulled out my notebook before staring on my history homework. I was almost finished by the time we pulled into our driveway. 

I jumped out of the car and walked straight to my room, eager to finish my homework. As I walked in I encountered a surprise. Dante was sitting on my bed watching an episode of the Originals. 

"Dante? What are you doing here? Don't you have bullet or knife wounds to patch up?" I asked.

"Haha very funny. Actually, I have a very serious question." he said. I looked at him expectantly. 

"Why is Klaus such an ass to Hayley? I mean this is the first episode and I don't really like his attitude."

"Seriously? That's what the question was?" I asked dumbfounded. 

"Yeah. I mean, she is carrying his child, he could show some common decency." I rolled my eyes at my elder brother before telling him to get out so I could do homework. 

I was left in silence for all of two minutes before another brother came into my room. This time it was Alessio. He strolled into my room with some coffee, so I eyed him suspiciously. 

"What do you want?" I cautiously asked.

"I need your help. I want to mess with Dante but I don't know what to do." he pouted.
