"Kookie!" Jungkook heard a hoarse voice just as he picked up a rag to clean the kitchen. "Coming!" he yelled and ran to the bedroom with frantic eyes. "What happened?" he asked. "Nothing" the man in front of him chuckled sheepishly.

"Ohh. Why did you call me, then?" Jungkook asked. "I was feeling bored" Taehyung said hoarsely, pushing his lips forward. "Aww, I'll join you, baby. Just wait for a minute" Jungkook said and ran back to throw the rag.

"Scoot over, babe" Jungkook said, trying to get under the covers with his boyfriend. Taehyung scooted to the corner and eyed Jungkook expectantly as he got in.

"When are we going to buy suits?" Taehyung asked, his voice breaking multiple times in a single sentence. "What do we need suits for?" Jungkook asked, wrapping an arm around Taehyung's waist and pulling him close to his chest.

"The marriage" Taehyung stated, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. Jungkook frowned slightly. "Who is getting married?" he asked. "Jin hyung" Taehyung said, frowning at Jungkook for forgetting such an important thing.

Jungkook sighed heavily and pulled him closer. He made sure to hide Taehyung's face in his chest, and placed his chin on Taehyung's head. "We'll go the day after tomorrow" he said, his voice breaking slightly as tears pooled in his eyes.

This was how it had been for the past week since Taehyung got discharged from the hospital. His memory was definitely getting better. He remembered a lot of people and events now. But they got too fuzzy and confusing.

Jungkook just played along with whatever memory Taehyung was living in at that moment, because Taehyung would get out of it soon, anyway.

The worst thing about it was how Taehyung never seemed to remember that his legs were weak. He always tried to jump out of the bed and run to Jungkook, only to fall to the ground with a heavy thud.

His withdrawal wasn't helping with his mood swings either.

His memory became soo fuzzy that sometimes, even though he knew 'Jin hyung', he didn't recognize the guy who kept cooking for them and stayed in the flat right opposite to their flat.

Sometimes, even when he called for 'Kookie', he didn't recognize the guy who ran to him with frantic doe eyes.

When that happened, Jungkook spent the next fifteen minutes cuddling the shit out of Taehyung and reminding him that he was the 'Kookie' that he had called for.

"Can I ge-" Taehyung's voice broke out from overusing it for that day. "-an ice cream?" he whispered. "Sure. Let's go and eat in the living room" Jungkook said and placed a gentle, long kiss on Taehyung's forehead.

He held Taehyung's hands to make sure his legs didn't buckle and send his mood plummeting to Tartarus.

But luck wasn't on his side.

Just as Taehyung set his foot on the floor, he decided to jump onto Jungkook's back. But he didn't calculate the jump well and landed right on his knees.

Jungkook pulled him up and sat him down on the bed in a flash and tried to get him a bowl of ice cream before he threw a tantrum. But before he could even get the ice cream out of the freezer, an extremely hoarse yell cut through the air.

Yell after yell followed before he could even run to the room. Seokjin burst through the main door to see what was wrong.

"Tae!" Jungkook exclaimed as he ran to Taehyung. "My knees hurt" Taehyung said. "Ohh" Jungkook said. But again, before he could say 'It is going to be okay', Taehyung yelled at him. "What 'ohh'? I said my knees hurt!" he whisper-yelled as his voice didn't co-operate anymore.

"I know, baby. I know. It wi-" "I know you know!! Do something! It hurts!!" Taehyung cut him off. Jungkook looked at Seokjin for help. On one hand, Taehyung's horribly breaking voice was breaking his heart, while on the other hand, his rapidly plummeting mood was scaring him.

"Are you just going to stand and stare at me?" Taehyung asked, glaring at the two of them and throwing the bed lamp across the room. Jungkook flinched as the glass crashed and broke into millions of pieces.

"Get the ice pack, Kookie. I'll clean the pieces. Jinnie, you go and get the meds" Namjoon said, already having heard what the yelling was about.

"Ohh, you are here?" Seokjin asked, not expecting Namjoon to be back home so soon. "Yeah. Came just now. Now go get the meds" Namjoon said, pushing Seokjin out of the room.

Jungkook ran into the room with an ice pack. "Fucking finally" Taehyung glared at him, bouncing his leg. "Sorry, sorry" Jungkook said and knelt on the floor to place the pack on Taehyung's knees.

"Strawberry milkshake!" Seokjin exclaimed, rushing into the room with a mug of strawberry milkshake. "Wow. For once, someone does something sensible" Taehyung growled as he took the milkshake from Seokjin.

None of them replied. They silently continued to work until Taehyung was out cold on the bed.

"Ughh, withdrawal sucks" Seokjin sighed, tucking Taehyung into the bed sheets. "But for some reason, his withdrawal is weak. Maybe the drug that Dae Shin used isn't that powerful when it comes to withdrawal effects. Because withdrawal is generally stronger than this" Namjoon said.

"Stronger mood swings than this? I can't imagine that" Jungkook mumbled. "Really, Kook. People seriously even go crazy when they start craving the drug. At least here, Taehyung has no idea what he is craving. When people know what they are craving, they would even kill to get it. Withdrawal is really not pleasant" Namjoon said.

"Ohh. But this sucks. Taehyung would never behave like this" Jungkook said. "I know. He will be fine once he gets out of the withdrawal. You just have to be patient until then. Be happy his legs don't co-operate. Or else he would have been running out of the house for the drug, making it a thousand times harder for you" Namjoon said.

"Oh my god, I didn't think about that" Jungkook said. His eyes widened as he thought about how horrible it would have been if Taehyung's legs co-operated with him.

"Yeah. It's already been three weeks. Maybe within a month or so, he will be fine. Let's be strong until then" Namjoon said.

"Yeah. Thank you for the help, hyung" Jungkook said. "No problem. We are just glad he is alive. We can pick his broken pieces up slowly. As long as the pieces are still there, they can be picked up and mended" Namjoon said.

"You are right. I am glad he is alive" Jungkook said, getting up to kiss his boyfriend's forehead. He let his lips stay there for long as tears ran down his face and wet Taehyung's face. But fortunately, Taehyung was too out of it to feel the tears falling on his face.

Seokjin and Namjoon silently threw the pieces of glass into the dustbin and left the house, locking the door behind them to give Jungkook some space.

Jungkook snuggled into the sheets once he heard the main door lock. He once again wrapped his hands around Taehyung's waist and pulled him closer.

"It's okay, baby. Everything will be fine" he whispered before entering his own dreamland.
