"Do you wanna wear the apron?" Jungkook chuckled, holding up the Mickey Mouse apron that they had bought a few years ago.
"Eww, no! I still don't understand what made me think it would be perfect" Taehyung grimaced. Jungkook chuckled again and put it away, asking Taehyung to put out all the ingredients.
"On it!" Taehyung said, pouring the flour into a huge bowl. They were just about to add sugar when someone knocked on the door.
"I'll see who that is. You mix the flour" Taehyung said and wiped his hands on a napkin before walking towards the door. He returned half a minute later, with Namjoon right behind him.
"Kookie, stop, stop, stop! Don't mix the flour!" he exclaimed, running to stop Jungkook from pouring milk into the flour. "Why, why, why?" Jungkook asked, flinching when Taehyung suddenly yelled at him to stop.
"Umm...Jinnie is preparing cake for tonight. Umm...you know....we...uhh...we didn't get to celebrate our first anniversary...umm...so....umm...I-I am sorry...uh-"
"Hyung, it's okay. You don't have to say sorry. We are the ones who should apologize. You couldn't celebrate because of u-"
"Let's not apologize to each other. Anyways, we decided to celebrate it today. And Seokjin is preparing dinner for tonight and asked me to call you guys as well" Namjoon said."What about this flour?" Jungkook asked, pointing to the flour that they had poured into the bowl. "You did not add the milk yet, right? Put it in the fridge. You can bake it some other day. Or just get that flour with you. We can ask Jinnie to bake it" Namjoon said.
"Okay. Let's go" Taehyung said, grabbing the bowl and walking towards Namjoon's flat. Jungkook washed his hands and ran behind Namjoon and Taehyung.
"Nice pigtail, Tae" Seokjin said, the second he saw Taehyung. "I tied it" Jungkook said, walking into the kitchen and flopping on a chair at the dining table.
"It looks cute" Namjoon said, grinning and playing with the fountain-style pigtail on Taehyung's head. Taehyung rolled his eyes and placed the bowl of flour on the counter.
"Can you believe it took two hours to tie that?" Jungkook asked, incredulously. Seokjin snickered and turned to face Jungkook. "Surprisingly, I can. Knowing you, I am actually surprised that it finished in just two hours" he said, earning a glare from Jungkook.
"Okay, stop glaring at him and come and help me with these vegetables" Namjoon said from where he sat, cutting the vegetables.
Jungkook got up to get another cutting board and a knife. He took a few vegetables from Namjoon and began to cut them silently while Taehyung and Seokjin handled the stove work.
They decided to eat on the short-legged table in the living room instead of the dining table. All of them settled on the floor around the table and ate silently for a while before Taehyung cleared his throat and asked the unspoken.
"So...umm....what did they do to Shinie hyung?" he asked in a small voice.
"Shinie hyung?....SHINIE HYUNG??? How do you even have the heart to call him 'Shinie hyung' after all that he did to you?" Namjoon asked, his chin jutting out in anger."I-"
"Tae, seriously. Don't even think about that piece of shit. They threw him in jail. Life imprisonment. He isn't worth our thought" Seokjin cut Taehyung off before he could answer Namjoon."But I-"
"He is such a fucking asshole! I fucking hate him! I still can't believe I admired him. I hope he rots in hell" Jungkook said, his face burning red with the sudden rage."No, bu-"
"You know what? Let's not talk about that human faced monster. He isn't worth it. I am happy he is in the jail. Those low-life shitters should be put where they belong" Seokjin said, his blood boiling and making his nostrils flare.
