CHAPTER SEVEN: STAY

LEVI'S

I was just about to drift into a deep slumber when I heard the scouts were rampaging.

A serious commotion huh?

I jumped into my uniform and wore my ODM gear before going out. Perfect timing I came a cross with one of Erwin's messenger.

"Hey brat, what's with that shitty expression?" I asked.

"C-Captain Levi, Sir! The area near wall rose was attacked by unknown Titans who came out of nowhere." He said. Then I felt rage.

"Where is Erwin? Hange?" I asked. I followed his direction of running and it took me to where Erwin is, together with General Pixis.

"What the hell is happening?" I asked. Standing next to me was Hange and the rest of my squad.

"We are planning to go out and get to shiganshina to retrieve the books that Eren's father possesses in his cellar. Then we heard of the titans approaching wall rose." Erwin said.

"Ive deployed my squad to kills the titans nearby. Also the 104th cadet corps are now helping." Said Hange. I looked at my squad and with just one nod, they understood my command.

"So what are your plans? For this expedition?" I asked.

"We will take Eren with us to serve as our guide. General Pixis here will lend half of this troops for us." Erwin told me.

"Is that so?" They both nodded.

"But for the mean time, we will not be going out during this time. We have to prepare for this." Erwin said.

I was about to speak again when another messenger went inside. Fear and worry started to rush in his face.

"General Pixis! Your chamber has been attacked. Lady Adelaide is being rushed here to be treated as we speak." the shitty looking bastard said. My eyes widened.

"Why was she rushed? Is she hurt?" I asked. I saw pairs of eyes darted at ne but who cares?

"S-She was shot, Sir." The general stood up.

"Is she alight!?" Pixis was hysterical.

As if that moment, I knew those who did this will pay. Every single one of them.

"She was shot at her abdomen. She's loosing so much blood. I felt a bolt of nervousness rushing into me.

"Get the clinic ready-" Erwin wasnt able to finish his sentence when I butted in.

"Hange. See Adelaide personally. You're the most efficient person to treat her at this moment." I told Hange. She looked surprised, so was Erwin but again, who cares? Obviously not me.

"Im on to it-"

"Do anything to save my daughter." Pixis butted. Hange lifted her arm for a salute before looking at me.

"Consider it done. Dont worry." then she went out to go to the clinic.

"Hange is very attentive. Lady Adelaide is in good hands" Erwin assured the old man. The latter just sighed. I didnt last there for long and went out of Erwin's office to go inside the clinic.

As soon as I went inside, I saw Hange with her right hand, getting the sugery table ready.

Im worried sick of Adelaide. I shouldnt have left her.

Hange looked at me "why dont just stand there. Go get the Lady to the MP's outside!" and like a thunderbolt, I ran to the main gate of the headquarters and saw 2 MP's saddling down from their horses with an unconcious Adelaide carried by one of them.
