CHAPTER TWENTY-NINE: PLAN

LEVI'S

"The garrison are in motion to find and search all eststes of the Reiss family." Hannes, one of the squad leaders in the garrison regiment reported. Pixis nodded.

"Damn those rascals for taking my daughter away." He hissed. I looked at the sky.

I will take her back, even if it will make me kill humans again, I swear I will.

"Sir!" We both looked at Rico who just went in. Bringing news perhaps.

"We already identified who abducted your daughter in front of the survey corps' head quarters." We both looked straight and intenly.

The name she mentioned made me startled and shocked.

"It is Kenny Ackerman, Sir. A captain of the Interior Police anti personel squad was sent by the Rod Reiss." She reported.

"Ackerman huh? Levi, perhaps you know who this is-"

"We need to find the three as soon as possible."  I said instead. They looked at me.

"Kenny Ackerman is someone you dont want to mess with." I added.

"Levi-"

"Not a word Erwin. I know what needs to be done. Especially if it involves Adelaide." I said and draw my blade.

I didnt care anymore if I will become an enemy of the state if I will kill the King of the walls.

"Let's not be rash here. There are factors we have to consider." Suddenly, Armin butted in and our gazes shifted to him, which of course made the brat shiver.

"Given the fact that Rod Reiss connived with Bertholdt and Reiner to get Eren and her daughter to retrive the founding Titan, then Adelaide's role in the picture is to be more likely get eaten by-"

"No. Eren wont do that-"

"But Historia can, Mikasa. She was deprived from her father. You know how she is-"

"This is bullshit." Jean hissed.I couldnt agree even more.

"Our only goal now is to save the general's daughter, Historia and Eren. They are vital to reclaim wall Maria. And if Lord Reiss get's in our way, then we strike." Erwin commanded. I remained silent to think of all people why is Kenny siding the military police?

"Isnt that Kenny Ackerman is also Kenny the ripper who's been terrorizing the capitol for butchering throats of MP's?" Nile asked. Their eyes went to me, expecting an answer. I avoided their stares.

"He is my mother's older brother. That man taught me everything that made me a soldier now. " Shock was evident in their reactions.

"And if that's the case, we could recover Adelaide. You can talk to him right?" the general asked.

"No. He wasnt an ideal uncle when I was a kid. He taught me how kill in order to survive in the underground city. I'll make sure he will pay for getting Adelaide." I fists closed.

"Look, Levi we cant just be attacking without a plan."

"Knowing you, Captain, you taught us how to stay calm at  times like this" Eld said

"That's true. The captain we know sets aside his emotions to be focus in a mission." Petra seconded.

"Levi, I understand how you want my daughter safe, but we have to plan in order to take her back. You here me son?" Pixis told me. I looked at him and sighed. Before nodding, I grabbed the other ring I bought aside from the first necklace and promise ring I gave her.

Hold on there baby, Im still giving you this wedding ring.

"Listen, only Levi's Squad and Hange's Squad will enter the Reiss Chapel. Patch the gun powders with oil then burn them up once they are inside the caverns. Hide behind the smokes and fire signal flares to alert the squad where the enemies are." Erwin said.

"And when you located Adelaide, Historia and Eren, retreat immediately before you bring down the threats." He added.

Adelaide's safety is my most priority. But I'll make sure Kenny and his squad will pay.

"Levi. Don't screw this up." Erwin said. I glared at him.

"Tch. Since when did I fail in a mission?" I hissed.

"Right. Make sure your goal is to save those three, not to get revenge. Am I understood here Lance Corporal?" His voice was stern and just. I sighed.

"Understood Sir. I wasnt fast enough to save them from the carriage, but I'll atone for that by saving Adelaide, Eren and Historia." I said. He nodded.

"B-But what about Reiner and Bertholdt?" Jean butted in. I suddenly clenched my fist.

"We will deal with them later. Focus on the three we are saving first. Now it's a good thing we have unmasked the traitors." Hange said.

How dare that freaking blonde bastard went near my girl? I'll make sure to make him, them pay for this.

With that, I listened carefully to Erwin's fight plan, but aside from that what I have in mind right now is something Im hoping for.

"It's time." Erwin said. Everyone became vigillant and hostile as the commander tols us to get ready, especially me.

Before I could ride my horse, I heard the general calling me.

"Levi..." I made a glance and turned back to be corteous. He seemed too worried either for his daughter.

"I trust my daughter's safety in you." He said. My eyes widened for a bit, hearing the general trusting me is like an achievement of mine.

"Bring her back..." He added. I nodded and firmly gave him a salute.

"I wont ride back here until I get Adelaide, general." I said. Dot nodded and started giving assignments to his men.

Some of the garrison's best and brightest joined our mission. Mitabi, Rico and Ian was sent also my the general to save his daughter.

"Those piece of shit wont see the skies anymore if something bad happens to Adelaide." Mitabi grunted.

"Those bastards will have to wish that it's better to get eaten by titans rather than die in our hands." Rico added. Then Ian butted in.

"Stop with the revenge. Just focus on saving her. She's like our younger sister. Dont screw this up by desiring to realiate. Here me?" The two sighed and nodded. I pull my hood to cover my face. Kenny will react if he sees me.

There is nothing more important in my mind now excet getting back my girl safely.

Of course, I'll make those abducted her live their lives like Hell.

I wont give up, babe.
