WHY?! JUST, WHY!?

The night started out normal. I left the great hall early to get a good night's rest, per request of Alice, who was still worried about me because of the torture. I went to bed, turned out the candle, and started dozing off until a pain in my scar tore me out of my tranquil state.

"AUGH!" I yelled in pain, gripping the bed frame. I started slipping into unconsciousness after about five minutes of my forehead on fire. I saw a room, filled with a dark presence. I sounded like Delphi, and a sickening happy feeling that was not my own filled me. She was happy. Too happy. "Is it ready?" Delphi/me asked. "Yes, it is. The transfer should be quite easy, though not entirely painless." the voice came from a cloaked figure, who was holding a cauldron full of a clear liquid.

Delphi, (or was it me?) drank some of the liquid and instantly a horrible pain hit my head and I saw my own body, writhing in pain and screaming like mad on my bed. I see Alice come in screaming for me to wake up and Lily is soon after. I wanted to wake up and tell them that I was okay, that I was just asleep in a nightmare.

Delphi came out of whatever she was doing, feeling very disappointed. Seconds later, I was on my bed in the Gryffindor girl's dorms with my forehead burning horribly and Lily crying and screaming for me to wake up. "Lily, Alice I'm fine. I'm awake, everything is fine."

"YOU ARE GOING TO THE HOSPITAL WING RIGHT THIS SECOND ROSIE!" Alice commanded. "I'm owling uncle Ron and aunt Hermione. This can't go unnoticed." Lily stated. I tried to protest but my scar gave a painful twinge and I stopped. Alice took me to the hospital wing and Lily left for the owlry. We passed Scorpius on the way there, who looked extremely worried when he saw me, pale and in pain. Before I could stop her, Alice explained everything. Scorpius scooped me up and started carrying me.

"Sorry for all of this..." I tried to say, but Scorpius shook his head and said, "This isn't your fault Rose."

Madame Pomfrey flipped out when she saw me. Scorpius put me gently on a bed as Madame Pomfrey prepared a sleeping draught. As I dozed off from the potion, I last heard my Mum say,  "IS SHE OKAY?! PLEASE TELL ME MY BABY'S ALRIGHT!"

Why? Just, why?
