Hopes and Time turners

Test run

I woke up, my head and heart going a mile a minute. I had to get out of here, find out who said that. I tried to get up, but my legs were jello. After a few moments, my legs started working and I got up. I left for the bedroom, where the time turner my mum gave us was. I turned it once, and my surroundings barely changed, but I was a few hours in the past. I walked out and saw myself annotating the page. 

I ducked behind a nearby couch and watched. 

Believe it or not, the same cloaked black figure that knocked me out at the burrow was sneaking up behind my dozing figure. The figure told my past self that I could not hide from him, and touched my past self's arm. The figure then morphed into a pale figure with an almost snakelike appearance. The figure laughed a high, cruel laugh before sweeping through the portrait hole. I followed it through the school until it disappeared. I walked up to the Gryffindor common room, disappointed. Suddenly, the time turner started ticking rapidly, and I was swept up to another time.

I arrived in... my Mum's home office? Well, it was, and my Mother was waiting for me. "I was wondering when you would arrive. Rosie, you may be confused, I put a charm on that time turner that made it so that you would come here once one of you used it for the first time. There are some things you need to know."

"Number one, this time turner can go back however far you need, and you can stay as long as you need. It will automatically take you back after the time is up. I have made it silver and put an emerald, a sapphire and a ruby in for a reason. You need to keep track of this time turner, keep it on you at all times. Delphi is powerful and unexpected, you need to always watch your back and be ready to throw the chain around you, Albus and Scorpius."

I drank in every word my past Mum said. She told me that this time turner could also transport me to the other side of the world in under a second. I left with the help of the time turner, and arrived at the moment I first started turning time. I had to tell Albus and Scorpius about this! I left for the Slytherin boys dorms. 

When I arrived, Albus was in the common room chillaxing with Scorpius. 

"GUYS! YOU WON'T BELIEVE THIS!" 

"Rose, what are you doing?! You gave me a fright!" Scorpius whispered.

"Sorry, it's just that... something crazy just happened!"

"What?" I was killing Albus with the suspense. I told them everything. 

"OH MY GOSH!" When I finished Scorpius and Albus looked surprised as heck. 

"Rose, that's... wow..." Albus said.

"I'm just glad you're okay, Rosie." Scorpius got close to me, and I realized my heart gave a little flutter. I smiled, earning this from Albus:

"I SHIP SCOROSE!"

Our heads whipped around, making Albus look a little sheepish. "What? You two are perfect for each other. I can't believe it took this long for you to see it."

At least he didn't hate it. 

I took the time turner and shoved it over my head. The rest of this year, (which I resolved to live through) was going to be eventful.
