Did I really just... get a Boyfriend?

I woke up with Scorpius holding me and Albus trying to wake me up. Both boys looked scared and I was too in pain to really say anything, so I just lay there looking stupidly at their faces. Finally Scorpius broke the silence by saying, "Rose, are you okay? I came over here with Albus and you passed out..."

My scar was killing me, so I just nodded lightly at each thing he said. Albus, after I woke up, went to get help. It was just me and Scorpius.

Scorpius looked at me and said quietly, "Rose, I love you. I really love you. Fireworks go off in my head every time I look at your face, when we kiss I feel like I'm flying... I can't keep going without knowing I've asked. Rose, will you be my girlfriend?"

My heart rate skyrocketed, as did my scar pain, but I pushed that aside to say, "Of course Scorpius." He beamed and threw his arms around me. My scar pain took over, though, and I passed out.

Dangit.

I woke up again in Scorpius's arms, heading to the hospital wing.  Sadie Skeeter (Rita Skeeter's niece) was following close behind, no doubt wanting an interview for the Zodiac (the school newspaper) or the Daily Prophet for her aunt to publish. I groaned. Once the Zodiac spent a year focusing on nothing but my love life.

Scorpius, once we got to the hospital wing, gently put me on a bed. "Rose, are you feeling okay? Your scar feels hot." he asked, looking concerned. I muttered, "My scar is on fire." He put his arm around me. I smiled at him.

Madame Pomfrey walked in seconds later, carrying a letter from my parents, which said,

Dear Rose,
Meet us in the headmistress's office when you feel up to it.
love,
Mum and Dad

"Are you feeling up to it?" madame Pomfrey asked. I was about to say yes when more scar pain overtook me and my sense of reality. I pressed lightly on my scar, hoping for the pain to lessen, or better, go away.

"Rose?" Scorpius grabbed my hand. I looked into his steel grey eyes. He looked worried, almost upset. "I hate seeing you in pain" he muttered.

Just then Sadie came in with her notepad. "Rose, Scorpius, will you two answer a few questions about your newfound connection? The Weasleys and the Malfoys have a history of fighting and bickering about things, even leading to torture and death. It seems as if you two have broken that cycle. Do you two plan on making this a new thing? Is the wizarding world facing a major change in our society? What do you two plan on telling your grandparents?"

Sadie bombarded us with questions like this until I thought my ears were going to burst. One question that I couldn't stop thinking about was what I was going to tell my grandparents. And his, for that matter. Lucius Malfoy has gone to great lengths to keep the line pure already, and I didn't want to have to worry about someone else, Delphi was enough.

After about two hours of this, I finally gained enough strength to stand up and go to Professor McGonagall's office. I left with some help from Scorpius, who supported me just a little bit as we left. My parents had been talking with the headmistress while I was waiting for my scar pain to edge off, so when we arrived they were there.

"Rose?" My mum came over to me and hugged me. My dad did as well, and Scorpius stepped back to give us room. McGonagall told Scorpius to stay there, just in case. My mum asked, "So what's going on with your scar dreams?"

I told them about the incident in the library, and by the end they were both concerned. I wanted to tell them it would be fine, but I would be lying if I did.

"Scorpius, is there anything that happened while she was unconscious?" Scorpius stopped for a sec. "Well, there was that one..."

"One what?"

Scorpius looked at me gravely.

"While you were unconscious you said something about Delphi."
