I was pacing in the living room at 3 am, wondering how we could stay alive another year. I couldn't quite calm down, considering the message was still burned into my brain. "One year is all I have to live? Just one?" I mumbled.

"Rose, we will not let her kill you! Don't think like that! I will make sure you live a long, healthy and happy life." My Mum interjected.

"Mum, she found a way to get on the Hogwarts express without anyone seeing, and she was able to torture me right under the ministry's nose! She will not stop at that. Right now all I can hope for is she'll use the killing curse to kill me instead of sectumsempra or the cruciatus curse..."

"It's true, we don't have much of a chance."

"Thank you, Albus."

"NO! She has hurt my baby once, she won't hurt him again!"

"SHE WON'T HARM MY DAUGHTER AGAIN!" My dad yelled, looking worried and angry at the same time.

"My son may go through what I did. I can't have that." Uncle Harry was really beating himself up over it. "Ron, Hermione? I'm sorry about this. If I would have just left you alone..." "Harry, this isn't your fault, Delphi wants them because they well... threaten her rise to power." My mum was really trying to make him feel good.

"Harry, this is not your fault... more than anything it's mine. The Malfoy name and everything... they know enough about me that... well..." Draco hugged Scorpius as he said this. "Mr. Malfoy, don't beat yourself up. If I hadn't fallen for Delphi's trap or told her who I was..." "Rose, none of this is your fault, you were trying to protect someone, and she tortured you." Draco said.

"That's because it's mine. If I hadn't rewritten time..."

"None of this is the fault of anyone in this room. Harry, Ron and Hermione, no matter how you spin it, could not have avoided this.  Draco, your father made you think his deatheater group was fighting for the good. You were young. Rose, Delphi tortured another person so you would save them and ultimately trapped you. Albus, she knew your weakness and tricked and manipulated you into this. This is all Delphi's fault." My grandma noted.

"What do we do then?" Scorpius asked.

"This." my Mum pulled out a time turner. "this is the key to being able to defeat her. She can manipulate time, and you need to hold on to this and be prepared to use it whenever you need to. She is powerful, manipulative, and murderous. But you three are smart, resourceful, powerful, brave, selfless, hardworking and clever. You have a chance." She handed me the time turner. I studied it in my hands. It was silver, with ruby, emerald and sapphire studs in it. "We will be careful." I promised.

Albus inquired, "How will we prepare?"

Uncle Harry looked at us gravely. "There is no way to prepare you for what you have been asked to shoulder."

Oh.

My.

Gosh.

We are gonna die.

I must have looked pretty bad, because my dad made me sit down. We went into the other room while they talked about bodyguards and stuff like that. "Albus, Scorpius?" I called a mini meeting right there. "We need to join forces. We have all been targeted by a sadistic serial killer and need to have each other."

"Like a new golden trio?" Scorpius asked

"Exactly."

Albus and Scorpius agreed to join forces with me and loved the golden trio idea. I never had considered how much we were like mixtures of the golden trio members in personality. I was Harry/Hermione, Scorpius was Hermione/Ron, Albus was Harry/Ron. It was almost hilarious, actually.

We went to bed, but none of us slept that night. The message was still up there and stayed all night, I had a perfect view of it from my window. It really didn't help.

The next day I woke up to screaming. It sounded like...

Vic?

I left and ran downstairs, bumping into confused family members as I passed. When I got there Victorie wasn't there.

But a cloaked black figure was.
