Hopes and Time turners

Scorpio

We stopped and stared at him. "why didn't you tell me?" I asked. "I didn't want you to worry. I think I have made it worse though, and I'm sorry." I walked up to him and hugged him. 

He hugged me back. My mum thought it was cute, but my dad frowned. "Are you two dating? I heard nothing of this." my dad pointed out. "Yes. We are dating... we figured out that we had mutual feelings for each other, so we decided to... get together." I said, trying not to show how scared I was for Scorpius. 

Silence followed. Scorpius took my hand as I waited for my dad to process. He looked like he had been hit by a bludger at a dinner party. Finally, he said, "If I find out you have hurt her in any way, Malfoy, let's just say that we won't exactly be friends afterwards." My dad looked dead serious. Scorpius nodded hurriedly and my mum said, "treat her well or else I might not stop Ron from charging at you." 

Scorpius assured them that he understood, and after we left he looked so relieved it was hilarious. I kissed him on the cheek and we went down the staircase, to find James Sirius Potter standing at the foot of it. 

"I need to talk to him for a second." James said to me. Scorpius looked like he had just gotten a box full of electric eels for Christmas. "Please don't hurt him." I begged. James took Scorpius out into the hall. I followed and eavesdropped. 

"So, you are dating Rose?" James inquired, almost in a bad cop interrogation way. Suddenly Fred and Hugo hit the scene. I waited, tense as a viola string. 

"Y-yes." Scorpius stammered, looking like he wanted to climb into a mouse hole. I really couldn't blame him. Hugo looked angry, as well as James and Fred. 

"You better treat her well. Break her heart, I break your arm." Fred said. 

"If you cheat on her or anything like that, I'll tell my Dad." Hugo threatened

"Keep her safe as well." James said and the other two agreed. Scorpius nodded after everything they said. 

"I hope we have made ourselves clear." said Hugo. 

"Chrystal." said Scorpius. 

As the boys left, they muttered things like, "tell us if he cheats on you or abuses you or makes you uncomfortable." I nodded and checked on Scorp. He was kind of pale and I had to help him quite a bit to get up. "Your family is scary." Scorpius said. 

I laughed and took his hand. 

"Rose will you go on a date with me?" I agreed to meet him on the astronomy tower at 10:00 pm sharp the next day. 

When it first started, we just talked until midnight hit. "I want to show you something." he said, taking my hand. We walked up to the stargazing area, and he turned off the flashlight he was carrying. The night was beautiful, there was almost zero pollution out here, due to lack of muggles, so the stars were very visible and very bright. 

We looked at the constellations and told stories about ourselves, so as to get to know each other better. I sat next to him and held his hand. After a while he dozed off, and I decided to just rest my eyes for a second. 

Yes... just for a second...
