{Ellies pov}

It's been a week since school started, and nothing has changed. I have no friends and I still dislike Ashton Irwin.

I guess because he's a dick to me, always glaring and staring. I obviously don't like him.

From: Mikey
Hey I'm gonna bring some of my friends over for you to meet

To: mikey
but I'm doing fine without friends

From: Mikey
Too bad. Everyone needs friends.

God damn it. I don't know why he's trying to help me, no one else the family does. (Except my mom of course.)

I don't want friends.

I look out the window to see his silver car pull up and catch a glimpse of his friends.

Are you kidding? I definitely don't want his friends.

Michael walks up, ashton Irwin behind him. Fuck. Then two other guys and a girl follow them.

I mentally curse and slowly walk towards the door.

Michael knocks on the door, I slap on my fake smile and open it.

They are all smiling, but Ashton stops and groans just by looking at me.

What's his issue? I've literally done nothing.

I recognize the girl. Sam? Sarah? I have homeroom with her, English and French. I just couldn't seem to remember her name.

I decide to break the awkward silence and just say a simple "hi"

Michael decides to speak and goes "Hey Ellie, can we come inside?"

"Yeah I guess." I groan. "This is Ashton, Calum, Luke and Sarah."

Great.

{Ashton's pov}

As I'm walking up the steps, to some one Mikey says he know's house, I ask what her name is again. "Ellie. I think you have homeroom with her."

Great.

She opens the door and I already want to go home. This is dumb. I don't want to be friends with her.

Mikey introduces all of us, and she replies with. "I'm Ellie, and it's fine if you don't want to be here,
Because neither do I."

Wow. That wasn't the reply I was thinking I was going to get.

Mikey speaks up and says, "well maybe we should do something."

I groan and so does Ellie.

"Like what?" Sarah asks.
"Oh I don't know, we could go out for ice cream, play video games, watch a movie, I don't know what do you guys want to do?"

"Let's just play some video games here and then maybe later go out for icecream." Calum says, and luke and Sarah nod in response.

{Ellies pov}

I can't believe I'm about to play Mario kart with some of Michael's friends. There's no way in hell I want to do this, but at this point I have no choice.

I grab a remote and decide to select Yoshi as my character and use the default bike. I hear Luke and Calum, fighting over who's going to be princess peach. What losers.

I decide to mess with them, and in the middle of there argument, I go back and select princess peach.

They both glare at me. "That's rude." Calum says, sounding angry.and Mikey chuckles.

I press play, and of course ashton is in first, I'm in second and the other guys and Sarah trail behind me.

Obviously I want to win, and ashton is way ahead of me, so I drop the first place bomb, giving me enough time to pass him. "Fuck you." "Only on Tuesdays, hun." I smirk at him and he glares back.

We finish up the game, with me in 1st, Ashton in 2nd , Sarah in 4th, Mikey in 6th. Calum and Luke suck, and ended in 10th & 12th.

"Ha." I say. Ashton im sure hates me for some reason and he probably has an actual reason since I beat him.

{Miley's pov}

After Mario cart all of us pile in my car and drive over to the nearest ice cream shop.

We all order, except Ellie who stays outside to smoke. I asked her to come inside but I guess she just needed a smoke.

We sit down with our ice cream, and I ask "What do you guys think about Ellie?" They all reply with "she's cool", or "shes nice" except for ashton.

He doesn't respond at all, because his eyes are glued to Ellie, who's sitting outside smoking.
He gets up with his ice cream, and goes to sit with her outside.

{Ellies pov}

I want to be alone. I want to be alone. God damn it I just want to be alone.

Of course Ashton comes outside, and slowly sits down across from me.

"What do you want?" "I want to know about Ellie."
I'm so confused. "I thought you hated Ellie." Now he's got me talking in third person.

"I don't know how I feel about Ellie." Fair enough, I feel the same way about him.

"Well, I can say the same thing about you." I spit at him. "What's your deal?" "Mine? I don't have any deal." I say back. "Then why do you smoke? And what do those scars along your wrist that you tried to cover show?" There was silence. How the fuck does he have the guts to ask me these things? All he's ever done is be rude. Now he asking me about my issues?

I stare at him on the verge of tears. How was I stupid enough to let ashton see those?

I stood up and ran.
I don't know where I was going to run too.
I just couldn't be near him or any of them.
