{Ashton's pov}
No.
There's no way what I'm seeing is real life.
I'm snapped back into reality, and start to cry.
What the hell am I doing? I need to do something. Should I call el's mom's name? What even is her name?
I run out of the room and run down the stairs, nearly falling because the tears that are stinging my eyes.
"E- Ellie, I don't know what's w- wrong, sh-she's passed out on the floor. She h-has an empty medicine container."
With that last sentence, her mom drops the pan of stir fry on the ground and runs past me.
I follow her up the stairs, and her mom is having the same reaction I did.
"No no no," she starts to whisper, "No no no" she gets louder with each no.
"Call the ambulance, please do something, I don't think she's doing okay anymore..."
I immediately dial the three numbers and explain to the lady on the other side of the phone what's going on.
Shortly after, an ambulance pulls up, and they take Ellie away from me, telling me it's family only.
What? No. I have to go.
Ellie's mom gives me a sympathetic look, and calmly tells me to meet them at the hospital.
I can't take it.
If she doesn't make it, neither do I.God damn it I can't do this.
I find myself falling.
