After that confusing afternoon, ashton left and I was again left alone in my thoughts.

What else is new?

*next day at school*

I'm slowly walking down the hall way of the hell I call school, when I look up and see Sarah.

I kinda smile and nod, not expecting to engulfed in a hug from her, but I except it and actually appreciate it.

"Hey Ellie! Last time we hung out kinda ended badly and stuff, but I was wondering if just the two of us could hang out sometime?"

Wow. Someone wants to actually hang out with me? That's a change.

"Uhm yah. Sure, I'd love too. Can I get you number?" We swap phones and I enter my number.

"Alright thanks Ellie! I gotta get to homeroom. I guess you are too. You wanna walk together?"

I nod and we walk to class. Shit. Ashton's in here. God damn it. I do not want to talk to him, it's going to be so awkward.

Ashton sees us and waves, and Sarah sits next to him and I sit on the other side of Sarah.

Nothing exciting happens in class, and it's the only class I have with Ashton.

Lunch comes around and I'm sitting at a table with Ashton, Sarah, Calum, Luke and Michael.

It's kinda awkward just because last time we hung out, which was only yesterday, it's ended badly.

We have small talk and talk about random stuff, but I can tell they are genuine when talking to me, and it makes me feel better.
