"And Max Verstappen collides with Charles Leclerc!" I clasp my hand over my mouth. That was such a bad crash. The two cars were both buried under the barriers so I didn't know if anything was wrong. It was a long six minutes before I even saw the divers move. Charles was the first driver out and he waited until Max came out. They didn't seem to be fighting about anything, just checking up on each other...but then again they could be fighting.

Max and Charles ended up getting a lift with the medical car back to the pits so it wasn't long until I saw them again. Max walked back into the garage with a red flustered look. "You okay?" I asked. "I'm fine. I just want to be alone for a bit. I'll see you at dinner or something." I nodded and watched as he retreated to his little driver room. I decided not to watch the race anymore and just do my own thing instead. It just wasn't the same with Max gone. Walking away from the garage I spot a driver walking towards me and with the recognisable red Ferrari suit, I knew it was Charles. "Hey Y/n." he mumbled walking by. "Hey. Sorry to hear about your race." He retraced his steps and made his way back to me. "It was a driver incident this time. No one was at fault." I chuckled. "You mena an inchident." He remembered the past interview he had after pushing Max off the track accidentally and smiled. "Well yes it actually was. That's what we were talking about when we were driving back in the medical car. We agreed we wouldn't press for any penalty because it wasn't exactly any body's fault."

"Nice to see you both getting along for once. Max used to always come home and give out about you." His smile grew wider. He loved the way she spoke, it was almost like it was always happy no matter the mood she actually was. "Well I should be going. I'm going to go get something to eat." I turned to leave but was stopped as I felt a hand touching my upper arm. "How about you come back to the Ferrari hospitality to eat something? I'd like to know you a bit better if you don't mind." I agreed immediately because it isn't everyday I get to go anywhere bar places with 'Red Bull' written on it. "What would you like? We pretty much have everything." Charles chuckled lightly. "A coffee if it isn't too much to ask." He nods and places the order before leading me outside to a table to continue our conversation. "So what do you do exactly? You know I'm a driver but I don't know what you do." He says first. "Well I was communications but now I live in Monaco with Max." He smirks. "What a coincidence? I live in Monaco too." I giggle and shake my head. "That is a coincidence isn't it?"

"Y/n?" I turn my head and see Max looking at me and Charles. "What are you doing here? Why aren't you in the hospitality?" He asked. "I think you'll find you told me to go to hospitality, you never specified which." I corrected him. "The one with the big red bull on the side. Now go! And you!" He turned to Charles. "Don't go anywhere near her! Do you understand?" Charles kept a neutral face. "You know what? I don't think I do understand mate." I stayed behind Max expecting the worst. "Well Let me say it to you in French. Reste loin de ma soeur and better yet, Y/n will say it in Italian. Go on!" The risk I took was calculated but looking back I was willing to take the risk. "Okay. Il numero della mia stanza è trecentoquarantadue. Mandami un messaggio prima di venire." (My room number is 342, send me a text before you come.) He wanted to smirk but couldn't, it would make Max suspicious so he pretended to be hurt. "Now Leclerc, maybe now you understand! Come on Y/n, let's go." He takes my hand and walks me back to the Red Bull hospitality. I look back at Charles and clew a kiss at him, to which he caught the imaginary thing and placed it in the pocket of his shirt.

I sat on my bed going through Instagram when I got a text from the one and only Charles. My smile instantly appeared so I opened the text message.

Charles

Hey
I'm coming up to the room now

My heart skipped a beat as I threw all the clothes just laying in my room into my suitcase. The door knocked and I got more and more excited. I open the door and there he stood. "Good evening. I see you were packing." He said referring to my case. "I wasn't planning on packing until tomorrow morning but my room was a mess and you were coming over. I didnt want to scare off my guest let's say." He nodded and walked in, sitting on the bed. "So what do you want to do?" He asked. "Well, I have my Nintendo switch? Maybe a movie? Whatever you're up for really." I reply. "Well you invited me. Its up to you really." Oh the indecision. "Oh no, I insist. You are my guest." I never liked doing this kinda stuff but I genuinely wanted to hang out with Charles. He seemed like a lovely man that I'd like to get to know a bit better. "How about dinner?" He asked. "Aren't there restrictions? We can't go out." He smiles. "Good answer but I meant room service. We'll just watch a movie and eat. Does that sound good?" I nod my head as he picks up the phone to orded

The evening went perfect. We just hang out and basically built up our friendship in a matter of hours. "I know we only met two days ago or something but do you want to help me get Max off my back? I don't know how to stop him from stalking me." Charles sits thinking as he pops another chip into his mouth. "Well, just hang around with me. I'll think of something. I usually do. Eventually of course." I giggle at his remark. We both grow tired and ended up falling asleep. I don't know how no-one walked in because I gave Max the spare key but thankfully we weren't foiled. To be quite honest, I liked this. I liked being cuddled up with someone. I never really did this with anyone before since I was never in a relationship. I liked this. I liked Charles.

A/N: part 3 tomorrow wooh (Then that's the Charles story done. Alright?)
