2. Never Tear Us Apart

-fighting of symptoms-

The next morning they were up at the same time, Theo under Daryl's arm, sinking into the think mattress.

"I'll never get bored of waking up next to you" Daryl sighed in his sleepy state, causing a blush to raise on Theo's cheeks. 

She looked up at him in admiration. 

"I love it. I love you" She smiled as she reached up to kiss him softly. 

"Morning love birds!" Their morning was rudely interrupted by Merle 'knocking' on their door.

They both sighed to one another before smiling.  

They laid  with one another for a while before getting ready for the day.

"Are you doing anything today?" Daryl asked her, tying his boots.

"Training" She smiled, placing her new jacket on.

She stood up and did a little spin

"What do you think?" She smiled, posing in front of Daryl.

Daryl looked her up and down, the jacket fitted her perfectly, not too tight, giving her enough room to move, but not loose enough to lose her body in it.

"Suits ya" Daryl winked, "Ya look hot as hell" He stood, walking over to her grabbing her gently by the waste and pulling her closer to his body

"Alright, keep it in your pants Dixon" She smirked as he kissed her. 

"Yeah, might have to do something about you wearing only that jacket" He smiled down at her making her playfully roll his eyes. 

"Hmm. Well..." She smiled before backing away from him, "I guess I should clear my schedule for tonight then?" Theo looked at him mischievously making him melt. 

"Absolutely" 

"You want help today?" Daryl asked, chewing on his nail as he moved himself away from Theo before he started something he couldn't finish. 

"Nope, I can handle those assholes on my own" She smirked

Daryl smiled at her before gunshot came from inside the prison, sending both of their heads flying in the direction it came from.

"The hell?" Theo asked grabbing her gun and bat

They began running, Sasha, Tyreese, Carol, Glenn and Rick joining them on the way.

The gun shots came from cell block D.

When they got there people were screaming, and there were walkers. 

A lot of walkers.

"Are you bit?!" Theo asked as he helped someone up off of the ground who was covered in blood, tears down their face.

"No!" They yelled, getting up, holding on Theo tightly.

"Go, go now" She instructed as she shot at one of the walkers heading her way.

"Daryl!" She yelled as she pointed at a child on their own, he was closest and could easily help the boy.

He responded in doing so, picking up the small boy, landing harshly on his back before shooting the walker with his crossbow. 

A couple minutes passed and the mayhem quietened.

"You alright?" Daryl asked, coming straight over to her, checking over her quickly before Merle joined their side. 

"You both alrigh?" He asked out of breath. 

"Yes, thanks bro" Daryl patted him on the back before turning his attention back to Theo.
