Elijah and I spent the first three periods in detention next to each other.
We just talked and when we weren't talking we were laughing or making out in the back.
There were a couple of other people in here, but they didn't dare stare for too long.
The teacher kept yelling at us to stop talking but when we refused, he gave up.
He also and I quote, 'tell anyone he let us talk, he'd deny it'; he then asked 'who do you think they'd believe, an excellent teacher like I, or a bunch of delinquents?'
That hoe got too much confidence in himself.
But whatever. I laughed, as did a couple other kids, including Elijah.
We were realized from the room, and I felt bad for those kids that couldn't yet leave.
But then again- I didn't care.
Elijah and I walked out of the room and were currently walking to the lunchroom.
I was twirling my hair in my fingers humming to 'Steal my girl.'
Don't judge- the songs stuck in my head! It's catchy okay?
Elijah slid his hand on my arm and to my hand, tangling our fingers together.
I looked up at him and smiled at the simple gesture that sent both my heart and stomach into overdrive.
But forreal, how do you breathe?
He shot me a million dollar smile.
Water. I need water!
I smiled back and he pulled our hands up, kissing mine.
I smiled and looked down at the ground. Strands of my hair fell into my face and I brushed them back behind my ear.
Elijah chuckled and I looked up at him as he shook his head and wrapped his arm around my shoulder- still holding my hand.
We walked into the lunchroom and the few people that were here, stared and I glared causing them to turn away.
Elijah and I walked outside to my normal table and he sat down, pulling me on his lap.
He wrapped his arms around my waist and rested his chin on my shoulder.
I tangled my fingers through his and threw my head back, resting it on his chest.
He trailed small kisses on my neck softly and I closed my eyes as he pulled us closer to each other.
"Hey guys!" I opened my eyes as Toni plopped down with Xavier next to her.
"Hey." I smiled at them and Xavier waved. I laughed at him and shook my head.
He had bought lunch and I grabbed something off his plate and popped it in my mouth.
"Ew, what the hell?! That's disgusting!" I cried out as I put the gross food in my mouth.
"You don't like pickles?" He frowned and I gapped at him.
"Ew. Fuck no! That shit nasty as fuck!" I got up off Elijah's lap and walked to the garbage bin.
And by walk, I mean ran.
Toni, Xavier and Elijah laughed at me. I frowned at them and walked back over to them.
"I'll be right back." I grumbled.
"What- Where you going?" Toni called out after me.
"To my car!" I called back as I walked to my locker.
