"Nyo-ho! [Y/N]!"

You could hear a familiar voice call out to you, turning your head you could see a familiar face, the man gave you his signature wide smile showing off the 'GO! GO! ZEPPELI!'

"Me and my friend over here, Johnny, we need a place for the night, got any rooms?" You stared at him for a moment as he tried to plead with his gaze, you shook your head as you gave him a disappointed expression.

"Come on! Nobody in this town is willing to take us in and this is the place I know will be good for us, come on? Pretty please?" He leaned over the counter as he watched you go through the quest book, "look I know last time I stayed here the room I got ended up into a chaotic mess- But! It was an accident! You can't blame me for getting so comfortable this is such a cozy place after all!"

He kept on pleading, you didn't pay much attention to him as you glanced at his friend and stared at him for a moment, he seemed to be in some sort of wheelchair, he gave you an expression of confusion as you handed him a key to one of the available rooms.

Gyro seemed to let out a cheer as Johnny seemed to be confused by your actions, you turned to look at Gyro, motioning your hand to outside, "what?! You can't be serious!" Gyro exclaimed, "wait, why isn't she talking what does she mean?" Johnny asked his friend.

"[Y/N] talking? She doesn't, and she's saying we are sleeping in the barn-" "But that's a great idea, we can bring the horses there!" Johnny seemed excited as he started to roll out from the building getting ready to find his beloved horse.

Gyro groaned in annoyance as he leaned on the counter, he lazily glanced at you, "perhaps I deserved that, huh?" You nodded in response while still keeping a blank expression on your face, he seemed to be in thought before he leaned off the counter, "we'll see you in the morning, we'll be eating breakfast here!" He called out to you as he walked out of the building.

You stared at the door for a moment, no one was nearby to hear but you tried to speak, "o-of -c-cour-course."

You tried to keep yourself from stuttering it was a condition you've had for ages, ending up you deciding to stay silent, nobody really liked to listen to someone who kept on messing over their words, but it wasn't because you were nervous it was only because it was hard for you to speak.

You held your mouth as you glanced down in disappointment, remembering how much you've been trying to get rid of it, feeling ashamed of it truly.

So, in the early morning, as the sun was rising, you were getting the eggs as the rooster let out a signature morning call, everything was going as usual and as you exited the henhouse, you almost dropped the basket of eggs as Johnny greeted you, "oh! Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, I was just coming to thank you for letting us stay here." He told you as he moved away to allow you to walk past, you only nodded your head at him.

"So, why don't you talk? Gyro couldn't stop talking about you last night, I almost had no sleep." He informed you as he moved with his wheelchair keeping up with you, "is there something wrong with your vocal cords, are they broken?" You shook your head at his question, "then, what is it?" He stopped as he tried to observe you, looking at your mouth and neck wondering if something else was wrong.

You only stared at him for a moment before continuing on walking, "you know it would make Gyro happy if you'd speak!" He called out to you, "it would shut him up and I could get some good shut-eye!" He continued, giving him one last glance you made your way inside the building through the back door.

Thinking about his words he did seem tired, and after all, he was a customer did you want to ruin the rooming house's name? Your boss wouldn't be happy about it at all and besides he was a big fan of Jojo or as some called him 'Joe kid', letting out a tired sigh you began making breakfast.

"Hey, can we get more food, [Y/N]?" Gyro called out to you as he chowed down on his food, Johnny looking tired as ever, he wasn't going to win the horse race if he was tired and out of energy, "could you keep it down?" He hushed Gyro who seemingly didn't care at all, you brought more food to the table as Gyro cheered on, Johnny gave you a tired look while the two of you made eye contact his eyes telling you to do something.

You made your way back to the kitchen as Johnny let out a tired groan, "what are you even trying to do ey? She's never spoken." Gyro asked with his mouth full of food, "just shut up, you're so damn loud." Johnny stated as he tried to look at the map wondering what route they would take next in the race.

"Oiii, [Y/N]!" Gyro called out to you again, Johnny tried to keep his attention on the map as he tried to stay awake, Gyro's loudness was getting annoying to him.

You made your way to the table again, they were the only two customers who were eating breakfast, "what. is. it?" You spoke trying to keep your voice in control, having a little struggle with it.

Gyro dropped the utensil from his hand as he watched you with his mouth hanging wide open, "finally." Johnny stated as he seemed to be more at peace, "can you get me some coffee?" He asked you, "of. course." You spoke your voice almost going into the stuttering again but you managed to keep it under control.

Gyro was speechless as he watched you go back into the kitchen, he couldn't believe his ears, that angelic voice, he seemingly stopped eating as well as he only kept his eyes on the kitchen counter, Johnny kept on looking over at the map, enjoying the silence finally, until-

"Johnny! Johnny! Did you hear her? She's an angel Johnny!"

The jockey let out a groan, the silence had been broken once again as Gyro kept on going on about you, "God darn it." Johnny let out an annoyed sigh.
