Brett suddenly woke up from sleep in a state of shock. His breathe suddenly felt unsteady.
"What was that?" Brett mutters. He turns his head to find Alice sleeping on the thin mattress next to his bed.
His eyes were pensive to every inch of Alice, thinking of the voices that just haunted his mind. His feelings became anxious because of it.
