That afternoon, Alice invited Brett to go to the nearest bubble tea shop. They both bought a bubble tea each and sat side by side at one of the table.
Alice smile at his enjoyable face, sipping his bubble tea. Her heart is secretly adores him. This young man is always looks handsome with his messy hair. If only Alice had forgotten everything was not the same anymore, she would have wanted to stroke his hair.
Brett turned his head when he realized Alice is watching him. His eyes stare at Alice in surprise. "What's wrong?"
Alice averted her face. She smiled with a flushed face. "No, it's nothing. I just... remember we used to come here often."
"Oh, really?"
Alice nods. She look at Brett again. "This is your favorite bubble tea shop."
"Oh."
There is silence between them, until Alice finally turned the conversation around.
"Hey, your birthday is coming. Let's celebrate it together, okay?" said Alice, patting Brett on the shoulder. "I'll make you a big chocolate cake."
Brett held on with his flat expression, then raised his lips slightly, forming a tiny smile. "Okay."
