"Em, sweetie wake up." My mom was saying into my ear. I groaned and rolled over. "You need to get ready for school. Colton is driving you if that's alright with you."
"It's alright." I tell her and sit up.
"Your dad already left for work and I'm about to leave. Colton will come by around 7:30 to pick you up. He has football practice this evening so you will either have to stay there or call us to come get you." My mom tells me.
"I'm actually still thinking about joining the cheerleading team. If it's alright with you and dad." I say to her. Colton has still been trying to get me to join the team so that we will have practice together and I'll be made to come to all of his games. Plus he says that my skills need to be seen.
"It's perfectly fine with us. We've wanted you to join a team since that camp. If you do then just text us and then you can ride home with Colton after practice." She told me and looked at my clock. "I've got to head out. I love you and I hope you have a good first day. If anything happens then you can call your dad or me. Colton will also be there so you can always text him if something happens or you have an attack. Sara and Mike are also around if you can't reach us."
"I know momma and I love you too." I tell her. She gives me a hug and kisses my head before leaving. I get up and head to the shower. I use the last of my favorite body wash so I make a reminder to buy more next time we go to the mall. I stand in the shower for a little longer before I turn it off and step out.
I change into my purple lace underwear and matching bra set from Victoria's Secret and walk out into my room. I open the door and immediately jump back. Colton is sitting on my bed with his phone in his hand. "Holy shit, what are you doing here right now?" I say as I catch my breath. He looks up and his eyes go wide. I grab the towel from behind me and quickly wrap myself in it.
"Wow okay, that definitely didn't help my morning." Colton said with a groan.
"What do you mean?" I ask him and then I regret the question because I can see it. "Colton! Take a cold shower or something."
"I did. I didn't know you'd be walking around in that." He says and looks away from me as I speed walk into my closet.
"I didn't know you'd be sitting on my bed. Mom said you wouldn't be here until 7:30." I tell back to him.
"I was a little early. I was bored. My dad left for work and my mom took Mel to Starbucks before school." He yelled. I went through my outfits and settled on black jeans with a few rips in them and a white loose fitting shirt. I paired it with my turquoise vans and I straighten my hair.
I walked back out and grabbed my backpack along with my cheer bag for if I decide to tryout. "You're trying out?" Colton asks me.
