(Spin-off to Changing The Player, but can be read alone)
Emory Connor grew up with Colton Black. Colton was a year older but always treated Emory like his sister. At the age of 10, Emory and her parents moved to Florida to be with her grandparents.

"I can't believe it's already the last day." I whine to Colton as I stare at my suitcase to find something to wear. We were going out for breakfast this morning since it was our last day. We leave early tomorrow morning to fly back home.
Luckily once I started eating more iron rich foods and taking the supplements, I haven't had anymore episodes. I've actually felt a whole lot better and haven't been sleeping as much.
"I know, this week has went by really fast." He says. I watch him change into a pair of kaki shorts and a light blue shirt. I grab a white flowy dress out of my bag and slip it on. It fit over my bump good and wasn't tight. I was now in the phase where my belly was sensitive and I didn't like tight stuff on it.

Before we walked out the door, I slipped on some sandals and followed Colton out. "You two finally ready?" My mom asks us and we nod. "Then let's go. I want to hurry up and eat then we can come back here to the beach."
We all follow her out of the room and towards the lobby. We had to take a shuttle to the restaurant because it was a few miles away. It overlooked the ocean and had a pier.
"Look, their surfing." I pointed out as we walked to the end of the pier where the restaurant was. "I wish we could try that." I mumble.
"We can, just after the baby is born." Colton says and wraps his arm around me. I nod into his shoulder however my mind stays wandering about everything. When my parents go inside to get menus and silverware, Colton pulls me aside. "What's wrong Em?"
"I'm just thinking." I say quietly but he raises his eyebrows to make me keep talking. "It's stupid. I'm just thinking about everything I'm missing out on and everything that you're missing out on because of me. We went from being out on the field playing to now not being able to do anything. You haven't even got to hang out with your friends besides school in over a month and that's all because of me."
"It's not all because of you Em. You didn't get yourself in this situation by yourself, it takes two to make a baby. I've wanted to be with you ever since I found out my true feelings. You're my best friend and girlfriend, I enjoy being with you. If you want, I can invite our friends over after we get back and we can all hangout and tell them the news." He tells me and I nod.
"Okay." I whisper out. I was scared to see everyone and hear what they think about this. They won't want to be friends with me anymore. Colton wrapped me in a tight hug for a minute before breaking away.
"Let's hi sit down. You're parents have been staring at us for the past five minutes." Colton says and grabs my hand. I turn around to head to the seat and sure enough, they are staring at us with a little smile on their face.
"Are you two okay?" My mom asks and Colton looks at me before I nod. "Good."
I look through the menu to see what I want. I see some chocolate chip pancakes with bacon on the side and instantly get a craving for it. I ordered the pancakes, mom ordered blueberry pancakes, dad got a house meal with hash browns, bacon and eggs, and Colton got biscuits and gravy.
