Emory Connor grew up with Colton Black. Colton was a year older but always treated Emory like his sister. At the age of 10, Emory and her parents moved to Florida to be with her grandparents.

"The only place I need to go is to the baby store. Do you need to go somewhere?" I ask and he shakes his head. "Then just to the baby store."
He leads the way to buy buy baby. I needed to get some vitamins and some morning sickness pills for sure. "I was thinking about ways to tell people. Should we just buy a onesie that says something cute and then take pictures with it. We could post them and that way everyone would see it and we wouldn't have to tell each individual person."
"I like that idea but you know if we do that, everyone at school will find out and stuff can be said." He warns.
"They are most likely all going to find out anyways. Even if my bump doesn't get very big, your friends will know and would probably slip up somewhere and tell others. I say it's better to just tell everyone that way we stop all the rumors before they start." I say and he nods.
"It's alright with me then." He says. So that means we need to add a cute onesie onto our list.
We went and found the medicine that I needed first before going and looking at all the clothes and other accessories. I knew babies were expensive but after seeing the prices on stuff like bottles, diapers, strollers, and car seats, I know just how expensive a baby will actually be.
I wish we knew the gender already that way we could find some cute clothes. Instead, we just looked for an announcement onesie. We ended up finding a white one that said 'I've got a rumbly in my tummy'. It was something Winnie the Pooh would say.

We headed up to the checkout and when I seen who was working, I wanted to turn around and leave but Colton wouldn't let me. "You said we need to tell people soon anyways. We need this stuff Em, it will be fine."
We walked up to the counter and set our stuff on it. "Hey guys." She says casually.
"Hey Faye." We both day back. "I didn't know you worked here?" I asked.
"I just started a couple weeks ago. I didn't know you guys shopped here?" She says and wiggles her eyes. I can see her stare at my belly as if trying to figure out if I'm pregnant or not.
"This is our first of many times you will see us." Colton says which gives her enough to realize that I am pregnant.
"Are you do real? You two?" She asks and we nod. "Are you guys together and didn't tell me?"
"No we never really got together. It was just a one time thing but now this happened so we will make the best of it." I say.
"Well congrats. I can't wait to spoil the baby. I hope it's a girl!" She says as we pay for our stuff.
"Thank you." I say. We grab our bags and head out of the mall. Colton carried the bags out in one arm and kept his other arm around my shoulders all the way to the truck.
