we arrived at yoshis and soras grandmothers house 3 hours later. the house was big and was built like a nice modern cabin, the banyan trees surrounded the dark oak house and warm yellow tone lights were hung up.

"woah your grandmothers house looks so cozy~ it feels like christmas already!" junkyu gushing as we walked up to her house.

yoshi rung the door bell with sora beside him. a soft music tune could be heard from outside the house. the door opened welcoming a small old lady wearing a light purple cardigan and tan khakis opened the door, sora ran into her arms and embraced a hug.

yoshi followed behind her, i turn over to see junkyu tearing up. i quietly laughed forgetting how empathetic he was.

she welcomed us into her home, same as the outside, it was decorated nicely. warm tone colors and green plants filled all over the house.

jeongwoo walked pass the table in front of the door and knocked over the decorative woven basket filled with fake baby breath flowers.

all the members head shot over at jeongwoo after the sudden sound he had made.

"yah jeongwoo be careful this isn't our dorm!" hyunsuk rushed over and whispered yelled at jeongwoo as they both picked up the flowers.

yoshi hyungs grandmother walked over and patted them on the back "its okay, ill pick them up later. come have some food" her quiet kind voice spoke.

to my surprised she knew korean, and she sounded fluent. i guess she learned it because yoshi and sora lived in korea. they bowed and apologized as i saw sora and junghwan laughing at them in the corner.

we ate with soras grandmother at the oak table that was placed in the middle of home. i tasted like homemade food - the ones every kid talked about that their parents made for them. i remembered the bitter taste of the soup i would be given to from the maids they made everyday when no one was home, which was everyday.

we all sat on the thick leathered couch around the fireplace. hyunsuk walked over and looked at the pictures above the warm fireplace.

"is that you sora?" hyunsuk exclaimed pointing at one of the pictures. she rushed over and covered herself with her hands.

she glared at hyunsuk and he laughed, "what? you look adorable~"

you could hear soras grandmother sweet laugh as she walked closer to us. she took out a photo album from the shelf next to the fireplace and placed it on the table.

she gently opened the album revealing baby photos of familiar faces. we huddled around her as she continued to turn the pages.

"this is yoshi and their parents when sora was born... yoshi wasn't that pleased about it" she chuckled as she touched the photo.

the guys laughed as yoshi rubbed the back of his neck, "i was 4" he spoke.

"is that your mom? she was so pretty" junghwan pointed at a photo. yoshi nodded, "people always said that sora looks like her.. i don't see it" he said as sora hit his shoulder.

"ah your mother was always beautiful, and sora herself" soras grandmother said glanced at yoshi as she pat soras back.

she continued to turn the pages, slowly only their grandmother and the both of them appeared. she reached to the end of the photo album - the last photo was sora and yoshi at the airport with her.

yedam was heard sniffling in the back with jeongwoo. her grandmother turned to sora and patted her head as she reached for yoshi to come closer. i could see the love built between them that i never received from my own.

i could tell that they loved each other, no matter how it took them to this point, they still loved each other.

it was quiet and we all were thinking about our own families,

i wished someone would care for me like this.

i just wished.

it was the next day, we came home from yoshis last night around late. they stayed over and would come back tomorrow to stay with their grandmother.

i got a text from mom, "come by today."

those words sent chills down my spine, i walked into my room and got ready to leave and face my parents. of course, i wasn't ready. but i had no choice now.

i headed to the house, the memories flashed back as i saw the water fountain in front of the house with the big white pillars in front of the doors.

*flashback*

i slammed the door behind me, "haruto." i heard my mother call out.

i turned around with blood still on my lips and bruising on my face, "all i ever wanted was to be appreciated from you both. the two people who i loved the most cant even realize my existence. their own son..." my voice weakened.

i took a few steps down the stairs and stopped, "i hope you know, that you were never a mother to me." i turned my head.

*end*

i walked up the steps and rang the doorbell, i could hear the music ring from inside the house. a man in a sleek black suit with a gentle face opened the door, kano, our butler.

i chuckled, "hey kano" i said nudging his shoulder. his straight face revealed a slight smile, he bowed, "good evening mr. haruto" his eyes still not meeting mine. i laughed and walked in.

he led me in the same old hallways with plated glass as walls, the white useless piano set in the middle of the big hall as a "decorative piece" and the spiral stairs that i always got yelled at sliding down on.

he led me up the stairs and stopped, lifting his hand in the direction of where i suppose mother was.

i patted kano on the shoulder and walked up to the office. i opened the tall wooden door - there sat mother in the middle of the room. she wore her everyday sleek ponytail and her diamond studs that father gifted her on her birthday.

i closed the door and sat down across from mother. i could feel the over amount of tension in the room, i couldn't even meet her evil eyes.
