I wandered the halls to Music Room 3 and changed out of my uniform to put on my hoodie and skirt. Grabbing the sketchbook Tamaki had gifted to me, I sat on the couch in the corner so they could continue their hosting.
After what had happened this weekend, Haruhi kept an eye on me and continuously checked up on me. Every time I would dismiss her with a small smile. Ootori had some concerns but at least he kept to himself about it. Its not like he knew what had happened, right? At least he didn't give a hint to what he may know. Although Haruhi doesn't seem like the type to be sharing information around.
My hand holding the pencil glided over the paper carefully as I sketched the Hitachiin twins. Each host had their own schtick, it actually interesting to see how it worked out for them. Kyoya made his way over setting a mug down. Since I'm not a guest, it wasn't exactly needed for me to drink from the delicate teacups.
He sat down on the opposite end of the couch and typed on his computer and occasionally writing notes in his journal. "Why are you staring, Akita?"
"Why are you sitting with me, you normally sit at your usual table." I focused back on the sketchpad and grabbed my smudge pen and began softening the shadowed areas.
"It is preoccupied some guests, this allows me to sit in peace. Or at least I thought." That is one thing I noticed, he never attended to any guests, rather let them admire from a far. None of them really had the confidence to approach him. Despite Kyoya's steely glare, he seemed to charm his way to girls quite easily.
I fixed on the details of the drawing and held it from afar. Carefully I removed the page from the sketch book and cut the fringes carefully before standing up to retrieve my graphite finish coat.
"Excuse me, you are the one who has been drawing the hosts correct?" I turned and smiled slightly at the girl. Her name Suto Tsuki, yet another potential client for my mothers business.
"Why yes I am, how can I help you Miss Tsuki?" She fiddled with her hands, obviously she wanted something.
"I was wondering if you could draw Kyoya next, and if I could watch your process? Your drawings are truly amazing." She didn't make eye contact but I only smiled.
"Of course, feel free to join me anytime, but wouldn't you rather spend your time with Kyoya himself?" She shrugged glancing over at the Ootori.
"He is always to cool and seems busy most of the time, I wouldn't wish to bother him." Mischevious thoughts began swirling in my head as I looked at the third Ootori son.
"You know, I think you should sit with him. He may seem busy all the time but I can guarantee you that he would be more than happy to attend you Miss Tsuki. Especially with someone as beautiful as you are, he couldn't say no." A large smile crossed her lips as she quickly made her way to him. He glanced up towards me, to which I stuck my tongue out and returned to gathering the finish coat for my drawing and a picture frame.
By the time I was finished applying the top coat, the guests started to filter out of the room. I set the drawing aside to dry when a voice interrupted me.
"Miss Tsuki finally had the courage to talk to me after observing for so long. How could that be, especially after talking to you." I turned to face Kyoya and shrugged.
"She has the confidence just needed the little push. She also requested a specific drawing from me." I put my mug away, walking away from Ootori.
"How were you able to capture that moment so perfectly?" I turned to see Karou and smile slightly.
"Well Karou, since you and your brother seem to pose in similar positions such as that one, its not hard to visualize and copy." I smile, he mouth open nearly catching flies.
