My cold had gone away quicker than I had expected. From what I could tell, Kyoya didn't show any symptoms. Glancing over at where he sat I frowned. He didn't try greeting me today, which I wasn't expecting. Maybe he didn't sleep well? Lately he has been more quiet and standoff-ish since this past weekend. I kept trying to make plans for a makeup dinner but he continued to dismiss me saying he was busy. When we were dismissed for lunch I made my way to the Chairman's office.
I knocked and he let me in. I stood in front of his desk and bowed slightly. "Mr. Suoh. I need to request that you move my class rank beneath Ootori."
'I want to prove to my father I am better than my brothers.'
"You want to move down ranks? Why is that?" He questioned and his gaze shifted from the papers in front of him to me.
"Ootori has proven time and time again that he belongs in the first rank. There must have been a fluke in my transcripts." He quirked a brow.
"I can't simply change your ranks, you have to understand that it isn't that simple." I let out a sigh and pulled out my tablet and pulled up my altered transcript.
"As you can see there was a mistake with a transfer credit, I didn't receive an A, this mistake in the academy's files, should be fixed. I don't like taking credit for false information even if it was in my benefit." I watched as he reviewed the document and nodded.
"Understood, as of now you have been surpassed by Ootori Kyoya." I smile and bowed before making my way to a banquet hall to begin preparing for the Halloween festival the host club has planned. Vendors began pulling things in and setting up as I checked with each one. A few workers started putting up the decorations when two arms wrapped around my shoulders.
"Niko, time for your costume."
I let out a groan and looked between Karou and Hikaru. "I'm not getting in that costume, its like you both don't understand my style." I scoffed and they only smirked at me.
"Its not for your enjoyment," "it is for another." I squinted at them, their mischevious grins curling more.
"What are you two planning? And no I'm not getting in that costume."
"We can help you," "we could dress you easily." They began to lift me and I struggled against them as they carried me to a changing room. I scowled at them and ordered them to leave.
"I will put on the costume if you leave it to me, you will not be dressing me."
"At least let us fix your hair." "Its gotta be presentable," "otherwise you won't have the complete look." Hikaru finished and I closed the curtain and looked at the outfit. Slipping on the off white shirt and the skirt I started regretting my choices. I slipped the thigh highs on and the black flats. Staring at the tail I become confused.
"Where am I supposed to put the tail?" The curtain opened and I felt my face flush.
"It goes under the skirt." Hikaru reached forward at my skirt and I smacked his hand.
"Touch anywhere near down there and you will regret every choice you have ever made." I snapped and closed the curtain again before clipping the tail on and opened the curtain. "Also I didn't see the ears anywhere."
"Thats because we are need to apply them after fixing your hair." I was sat down as Karou and Hikaru starting adding extensions to my hair. They added the ears and Hikaru grabbed me pulling me to a mirror.
"I look ridiculous." I grumbled and stared at the boys in the mirror.
"Well thats a shame," "At least Kyoya-Senpai will enjoy it." I turned to them and hit both their arms.
