Chapter 8: Shopping anyone?

After they finished eating, they all decided to go shopping with Rory and Logan. The girls helped Rory find bigger clothes that were still stylish. While the guys just enjoyed watching her model her new clothes.

Steph found her some cute grey jeans that had elastic on the waistband. They fit her really snugly on her legs and butt, which made the guys cheer when she stepped out of the dressing room.

Rosemary picked out some denim and baby blue ones that were the exact same style as the grey ones Steph picked. 

Juliet found a white top, a light pink, and a red top to go with the pants. They could be interchangeable. 

The guys decided to get all the clothes in the different sizes she would need. Medium, large, and extra-large. They figured that would do her at least until her seventh month, if not through her entire pregnancy.

Logan found her some comfy sweats and a couple of shirts to go with them. Colin bought her clothes as a congratulatory gift for the couple.

They stopped at a few other stores and got her a few dresses and dress suits in bigger sizes. Robert paid for this order.

Then they picked out some new shoes to match her outfits, and Finn bought them all. Rory was exhausted, so they all decided to go back to the hotel and order dinner in. 

They ordered pizza, Chinese, and Mexican. Since Rory couldn't decide which one she wanted. They sat around the rest of the evening, catching up and talking. 

Rory had her head laid on Finn's shoulder. He heard her breathing heavily and knew she had fallen asleep.

"Um, mate I think mother has fallen asleep on my shoulder," Finn said.       

Logan smiled at how beautiful she was and how cute she looked laid over on Finn. "I guess we wore her out shopping. She has been extremely tired, I guess pregnancy is hard on the body." 

Logan stood up off the floor, bent down, lifted her up, and carried her to their bed. Robert pulled the covers down for him. 

Once Robert left. Logan pulled her shoes, socks, pants, and bra off. He left her in her T-shirt. He brushed her hair out of her face and gently kissed her on the lips. He returned back to their friends. 

"She has been so exhausted since she has been here. Every day I order breakfast, Take her to lunch between the apartment and work, then take her to dinner, back here, and she goes to bed. She sleeps in between breakfast and lunch, as well as between lunch and dinner. I am getting a little worried about her," Logan said, sounding a little stressed.

"That's normal, Logan for her body to need extra rest while she is pregnant. There is nothing to worry about. Her body is going through a lot of extra changes," Rosemary said.

"So, mate are you going to ask her to marry you?" Finn asked.

"I don't know, after the last rejection. I don't know if I can go through that again. The last time almost killed me."

"Hey, mate don't think like that our girl in there loves you. She just wasn't ready the last time, but that was ten years ago. She has grown up, lived, and traveled. I know without a doubt she will say yes. Just this time, make sure to do it somewhere private." Replied Finn nonchalantly.

"Will you guys help me decorate the area?"          

"Make a list of everything you want. We will get the items, decorate, and set it up for you. What exactly are you thinking?" Robert asked.  

"Let's go to one of your rooms. Just in case she wakes up. I don't want her to hear us." Logan states as he looks at their bedroom door.

Finn had gotten two rooms, one for the guys and one for the ladies. They all went to the guy's room which was next to Logan and Rory's room. 

"Alright, mate now explain your plan to us, as well as when you are planning to execute said plan," Finn asks excitedly. 

"I was planning on doing it in two days. I would like to get red and white roses, with candles all over the room, and if possible, some pictures of us through the years."

"We can definitely do that. Where are you planning on doing the proposal?" Colin asks.

"I was thinking of the Tower Bridge, as well as having a table and chairs. So we can have dinner. What do you guys think? Romantic and private enough?" Logan asked, hopeful. 

"I am trying to imagine this, and it looks absolutely perfect and romantic. We can also make a playlist so you can dance with her. Completely romance her before you propose." Finn replied.

"I will call and get the Tower Bridge reserved for Thursday evening. Be there at seven o'clock sharp. We will start decorating at five. I will get the tables and chairs brought up from the Hotel. All you have to do is show up with mother." Finn replied happily.

"This is a proposal and wedding we can get behind." Stated Colin. 

Logan was smiling, "luckily, I still have the original ring I proposed with after her graduation party. Thankfully I brought it with me when I packed the other day. Two days guys I can keep calm for two days."

"We will have enough scotch to help keep you calm if needed," Robert said, laughing.

"Alright, guys and gals, thanks for everything. I appreciate all your help. Now, I am going to go back to our room so I can cuddle up with my girl."

They all shook hands, and Logan left. He walked in and saw Rory sitting on the couch.

"Hey, Ace you were sleeping so good. Is everything okay? What are you doing up?"

She replied groggily, "I was missing you, and I woke up, and everyone was gone. Where did you all go?"

"I'm sorry Ace, we just went next door to Finn's room well, the guy's room, actually. So we could talk without disturbing you."

He sat down on the couch beside her, he pulled her into his lap. He cuddled up with her on the couch. He looked deep into her eyes and kissed her a deep, passionate, searing kiss. 

"I love you, Ace, I mean, I really love you. I am all in, I am so glad you are pregnant. I know it was unplanned, but I believe it was meant to be. Written in the stars for us. Because of the pregnancy, it gave you the courage to tell me your true feelings. That you love me and wanted to be with me."

"It gave me the courage to end it with Odette and stand up to my dad."

"Aww, Mac I love you too so much. You and our baby are the most important people in the world to me. With my mom coming in at third, and the boys next. Please don't tell anyone I said that." She laughed. 

"Let's go to bed, Ace because I am in the mood to show you just how much I love you all night long."

"Sounds perfect, my Master and Commander. I always enjoy showing you how much we love each other."

Logan pulled her up and led her to their bedroom, holding her hand, with a smile across his face.
