Chapter 36: Our Family Tree grows

Thirty years after their marriage. Eight years after the last chapter.
August 19, 2045:

Tori is in her dressing room. Her best friends, her sister, and her two sisters-in-law are with her. Today is the day she marries her high school sweetheart. 

She is a little nervous as her mother walks into the dressing room. "How are you holding up, sweetheart?"

"I am good mom just a little stressed and nervous. I mean I know he is the one we have already been together for more than eight years. I am just nervous with everyone watching me and all those people out there."

"Well, baby girl you will be just fine, I promise you that. The moment your eyes meet his nothing else will matter and you won't even care about anyone else in that room. I can't believe that my baby is getting married today. After today all four of our children will be married. I am a grandma now to six grandchildren. I am so proud of all my children."

"Mom, you are going to make me cry and mess up my makeup. I love you and dad so much. You were the best parents any kid could ever ask for." 

"I have something for you. This Tiara is what I wore the day I married your dad, this is your something old and blue. This diamond necklace I also wore at our wedding they belonged to your father's grandmother they are your borrowed. This my dear is from me and your dad this is your something new."

She opened the blue Tiffany box it was a bracelet and earring set. The earrings were diamond teardrops, and the bracelet was the same design, both in white gold. 

"Oh, mom, these are all beautiful. Can you help me with the Tiara, necklace, and bracelet?"

"Yes, dear, I can."

Rory put everything on her daughter while Tori put her earrings in. "Alright, are you ready to get married?"  

She smiled her dad's smile. They walked to the door where Logan was standing patiently waiting for his youngest daughter. 

"Oh, wow, Tori, you are beautiful. You are going to take Janlan's breath away, my sweet girl. Now, are you ready, or do you want to run away?" 

"I am ready, daddy. Let's get me married. Hey dad?"

"Yes, sweetheart?"

"Don't let me fall."

"I promise, baby girl, I won't let you fall."

Rory kissed her husband as she was escorted to her seat along with Tristan and his wife, Sandra. The wedding processional started. They each had six bridesmaids and groomsmen standing with them. 

A/N: I am going to describe the families and only give details of who they married and their kids in a brief detail of the last eight years: Time jumps from this point will be of important dates as the characters are passing away: 

Elias married his college Sweetheart they got married after they graduated. He married Christina Smith on June 18, 2039. They now have two kids His oldest is his son named Logan Elias Huntzeberger, who was born July 8, 2041. His daughter is Christina Leigh Huntzeberger, who was born on May 20, 2042. 

Elias is running his division of HPG. He is living here in Hartford. We agreed to allow the kids their own divisions, but they could each work out of the Hartford office. He has been in charge with Lola since they both reached age twenty-five. Logan fully retired a couple of years after Lola reached age twenty-five.  

Lola married Grady McCrae on September 28, 2041. Steph and Colin's oldest son. They now have three children. Their oldest, Colin Logan McCrae, was born on August 12, 2042. The second child Lorelai Leigh McCrae was born on October 5, 2042. Their youngest was just born she is three months old her name is Stephanie Victoria McCrae, and she was born June 3, 2045.

Logan married Leigh Morgan on October 3, 2043. He married Rose and Finn's daughter. They just welcomed their first son Finnegan Logan Huntzeberger on February 24, 2045.  

Then today, Tori is marrying Janlon Dugray. They met their freshman year of high school, dated all through college, and today at twenty-one, she is marrying her high school sweetheart. Janlon is Tristan and his wife Sandra's oldest son. 

1 Year 4 months and 12 days later: December 31, 2046: Rory and Logan's 30th-anniversary party:

Rory was getting dressed, and Logan walked up and put his arms around her waist.They looked at their reflections in the mirror. Their hair had greyed, their faces had wrinkles, and they still had decent bodies since Logan made Rory start exercising. 

"You are so beautiful, my lovely wife. Can you believe we got married thirty years ago today? I have spent forty-two years loving you."

"You are still sexy, my handsome husband. It seems like just yesterday we were getting married and had a house full of kids running around. I have loved you for forty-two years as well. It has been a great life. I am so proud of our family. We now have eight grandchildren, four children, two sons-in-law, and two daughters-in-law. My mom and dad are still living. We still have Honor and Josh and all our friends."

"Very true, my love. I can't believe we lost mom last year. Our group is getting smaller. I worry because Honor had that heart attack last year. Colin has been in the hospital several times. Rory, I don't think I can face losing you, please promise me you will let me go first."

"Logan, I can't live a life where you aren't in it. I can't promise you that. I pray that I never have to face what grandma Emily and Mom have had to face. I really don't think I could face a life without you beside me. I am glad mom and dad decided to come to stay with us in the guest house. They have been married for eight years, I can't believe it has been that long. They remarried two years after Luke passed away."

"Rory, I can't live a life without you either. So, whoever goes first, the other will follow shortly. I think it would give me an instant heart attack if I lost you. I am glad Chris and Lorelai got married and are living so close. I know you worry less since they are right there with us. I can't believe it has been that long since we lost Luke." She turned her around to face him. He held his finger under her chin, and kissed her with so much passion. "I love you, Rory Huntzeberger."

His kiss made her knees feel weak. "I love you, Logan Huntzeberger." 

They celebrated their party with all their grandchildren. 

Logan and Leigh had one more child after Finnegan. Their second child was Starla Violet Huntzeberger, born on June 4, 2046. 

Tori and Janlon also had their first son they named him Tristan Elias Dugray, born August 2, 2046. They just announced they are expecting again in June of next year. So next year, they will have nine grandchildren.
