Logan looked in the mirror to ensure his tux was perfect. The groomer was running lint brushes on all their tuxedos.
Pastor Franklin stepped in and announced, "almost time to go, gentleman."
Logan took a deep breath and walked out. The pastor, Logan, and Finn were to stand behind the divider after Finn escorted Lorelai to her seat.
The music started to play, and he was so overfilled with emotions when he realized what song was playing. Rory had asked if she could pick the music for their special moments which he gladly agreed. She chose Moon river the instrumental version. It was the song that was playing the first time they danced at her grandparent's vow renewal that was the night they shared their first kiss. Definitely a special song for them.
Emily and Francine had been seated, and now Finn was escorting Lorelai and Josh was a few paces behind, escorting Shira to their seats. Finn joined him after Lorelai was seated. The flower girls made their way down the aisle followed by the ring barriers.
"Alright guys our turn," Pastor Franklin said as he smiled. Logan was a nervous wreck as he stood there watching his friends make their way down the aisle. His entire body trembling.
First came Colin and Steph, Robert and Juliet, Josh and Honor, Doyle and Paris, and finally Seth and Rosemary. They close the doors as Lane makes her way down to stand next to Rory. When they open back up everyone stands and turns.
The moment he laid his eyes on Rory he is so overwhelmed he starts crying. My god, she is beautiful.
"You okay over there, mate, still breathing?" Finn whispered.
As Rory begins her descent down the Aisle, Luke on one side and Christopher on the other. Her eyes lock on Logan's, and it was as if time stopped.
She is so beautiful her gown is exquisite. It has fitted long lace sleeves, and a wide squared neckline, it has beads throughout the dress, swirled linear embroidery, and flowers. Sheer side cutouts that made a linear shimmer element, it has a keyhole back, and a train that flows freely behind her.
It fit her perfectly and completely hid her baby bump. It was a very sexy dress. She wore a small diamond tiara that only showed the diamonds from her hair. The butterfly clips on each side perfectly complemented the tiara. She chose not to wear a veil, so the tiara and clips worked together perfectly.
I gave her the necklace as her something new, and the tennis bracelet was her something borrowed from Honor. Thankfully the butterfly clips worked as her something old and something blue.
She was almost to the end, God she is gorgeous. I step over to take her hand as Christopher and Luke place hers in mine. I can hear the guests sniffling. She is beautiful.
"Who gives this bride away?" Asks Pastor Franklin.
"Christopher responds, "Her mother, stepfather, and I do" They are seated.
The pastor begins the ceremony. "We are gathered here today to unite this couple, Logan Huntzberger and Lorelai Gilmore, in holy matrimony. In the presence of their beloved family and friends that have joined us here today."
Logan and Lorelai will pronounce their love through this ceremony and begin a lifelong journey together."
"Before we begin, the couple has asked me to give this reading from Edward Monkton."
"In that still and settled place, There is nobody but you."
"You're where I breathe my oxygen, you're where I see my view."
"And when the world feels full of noise. "
"My heart knows what to do, it finds that still and settled place."
