February 21, 2048: 2 Years later:

Rory woke up and stirred as she lay on Logan's chest.

"Good morning baby," Logan said as he smiled at his wife. He kissed the top of her head.

"Good morning." She replied sleepily. She lay there with her hand on his stomach as she drew circles on his stomach.

"Jump in the shower and I will get breakfast cooked. What are our plans for today?"

"Okay that sounds good and I don't know. What do you want to do?"

"I figured we could just lay around today. The grandkids are coming over this weekend. I figured we could do pizza and movie nights while they are all here. We need to rest up before our house has all of them running around. We aren't young anymore."

"I completely agree we aren't as young as we use to be. When they leave I am so worn out. I am so glad Colin, Steph, Finn, and Rose agreed to come over and help. Also thankful we turned the kid's rooms one room into a nursery and the others into rooms with bunk beds. We have nine grandchildren ages six to nine months old."

She jumped up and got in the shower and went downstairs after she got dressed. Logan had made her favorite chocolate chip pancakes with eggs and bacon. He handed her a cup of coffee and she sat down beside him with her plate.

"This smells so good baby. Thank you for cooking." She leaned over and kissed him.

"You are welcome, baby. After thirty-two years of marriage, I know I have to keep my girl fed and plenty of coffee. So, I figured we would just kick back and watch movies today."

"Sounds good to me, especially just relaxing. My body is too old to be able to do what we use to. We can also relax on the patio and enjoy the sunset tonight."

"Alright, I will even grill us some steaks for dinner."

"Yes, that sounds yummy. I am so glad we are retired and we get to actually enjoy our life. We traveled so many places after we both retired."

"I know we have been all over the world multiple times and now we just want to kick back and relax."

They finished breakfast and put their dishes in the dishwasher. Then made their way to the cinema room. They lay together as they watched the movies. After their fourth movie, she looked at her phone, realizing how late it was and she hasn't heard from her mom or dad.

"Hey, Logan mom or dad haven't called yet. I am going to walk down and check on them."

"Okay, I will walk down with you." He stood up and held his hand out for her.

They walked hand in hand to the guest house. She walked in and started noticing there wasn't any noise.

"Mom, dad. Hey mom, hey dad. Are you guys up? Hello? Where are they, Logan? I am a little worried."

She walked into their bedroom and turned the light on. They were both still in bed. She started walking over to the bed. Logan grabbed her.

"Rory baby, don't. Let me walk over. You stay right here."

She just shook her head as tears were already streaming down her face.

Logan walked over and felt both Lorelai and Chris. He turned to his wife and shook his head as he quickly made it back to catch her before she hit the ground. He sat on the ground holding her as she sobbed so loudly.

He picked her up and carried her to the couch. He then called Finn and Colin on a conference call.

"Finn, Colin. I need you to call all our kids and get them to the house now. Lorelai and Chris are both gone. We haven't heard from them all day, and we just found them."
