Chapter 40: 50 Years The Golden Anniversary!!

3 Years later: December 31, 2066:

Today is their Fiftieth wedding anniversary. Rory and Logan still live in their house, and Finn still lives with them. They have slowed down in their old age. 

They still have their movie nights and date nights. Finn is doing okay we just sit around the house and play cards. I finally hired a full-time chef and maid. One of our kids comes over every single day to check on us.

The grandkids come over every weekend and spend the weekend with us. They are all getting so big. So much has changed since we lost Robert the kids decided they wanted to own the company and keep their Uncle Robert's family business going. 

Eli is now forty-nine years old and retired since his oldest son took over at HPG.
Logan is twenty-five and graduated from Yale. He is running HPG with his cousin Leigh. He has been married for almost two years, and they just welcomed their first child, who is fourteen months old. His name is Elias Finnegan Huntzeberger. 
His daughter Christine is now Twenty-four she graduated from Yale and she is helping run HPG and the security company. She is currently engaged and to be married next summer.  

Lola is now Forty-eight years old and also retired since her oldest son decided to take over McCrae law.
Colin has graduated from Yale and is now twenty-four years old. He is attending Yale law and has two years remaining to complete his Ph.D. in law. He has been married for two years. 
Leigh is now twenty-three years old her daughter, and she is running her mother's portion of HPG. She is still married to Austin, her daughter Lorelai is now five, and they are expecting a second child in six months. She graduated from Yale a year early. 
Her daughter Victoria is twenty-one she is a senior at Yale and will help Leigh run HPG once she graduates. She just got engaged and is getting married a year after she graduates. 

Logan is now forty-five and is still running Hayden Law Firm. Logan and Grady are planning on merging the two law companies once their sons are old enough to run them and they both complete Law school. 
His oldest son Finny is now Twenty-one and will graduate pre-law next year. Then he will attend Law school at Yale for his Master's which he can complete in three years. He has a girlfriend that he has been dating for three years. They do live together and have for the last two years. 
His daughter Starla is a Junior at Yale she is now twenty years old. 
His second daughter Stephanie is seventeen years old and is a senior at Chilton, and she is now the Editor of the Franklin.
Both of his daughters have decided to run Morgan Group Hotels together with Tristan and the Dugrey's Group Hotel. They will become Morgan and Dugray Hotel Group.

Tori is now forty-three she is still working for Gilmore Insurance Group. She has combined the insurance with the security company she inherited from her Uncle Robert and has made it the second-largest security company in the nation. She gives discounts to her customers for using Grimaldi Security. 
Her son Tristan is now twenty years old and is a Junior at Yale he works for his dad's family company which owns a chain of Hotels The Dugray Hotel Group. Which he is combining with his cousins Stephanie and Starla. Tristan has a girlfriend he has been dating for two years.
Her daughter Emily Sophomore at Yale, and she will be taking over Gilmore Insurance Group once she finishes college. Emily has been married for two years she married her high school boyfriend. 

Rory's POV:

I am so happy our kids got married and had kids of their own, and some of them have now married and have had kids of their own. We have lived a wonderful, happy life. I am still happily married fifty years later. 

Our kids are throwing us an Anniversary party tonight and to be honest I would rather just stay home and spend it privately with my husband. I can now die a very happy woman. We made it fifty years. I am now eighty-two years old and have to use a cane to help me get around. Logan is eighty-four and also uses a cane. Finn is eighty-three and is still walking pretty well.
