A Life and Death Love

Chapter16: Almost time

Rory woke up at noon. She grabbed her phone and had two messages from Logan. 

   Good Morning my beautiful bride-to-be. Seven hours and very impatiently counting down the time until you become my wife. I love you, Ace today, tomorrow, and forever. L

   There is a present waiting for you in Honor's room. I can't wait to see you wearing it. I really hope you like it. Also once you wake up call room service and tell them you are ready. I have ordered you and our baby your favorite foods. I love you, my beautiful Ace, six hours and counting. L 

Rory quickly began typing her response back to Logan, she was so excited in under five hours she will be getting married. 

   Good afternoon my handsome, sexy Mac. I can't wait to become your wife and for you to be my husband. Only four hours and fifty-six minutes to go. Luckily once I eat it will be time to shower, and then it will be time to head to campus. Then I will begin the hours of preparation to look stunning for you, my love. I am so nervous, and I can't wait to see you, love you always your soon-to-be Mrs. Logan Huntzberger. R

She called room service and texted Honor to retrieve the gift she had. 

Room service arrived shortly with her tray. He ordered her three blueberry pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, and tater tots. The first pancake had the letter I, the second pancake had a heart, and the third pancake had the letter U. Tears welled up in her eyes. 

Honor brought her a gift box. It was two black velvet boxes with a blue ribbon tied around them. She opened it up, and it was a set of hair clips that were blue. The note read: To my dearest Ace, these clips belonged to my grandmother. Here is your something old and blue. The next box contains your something new and borrowed. The next box contained a new diamond necklace and a tennis bracelet for the borrowed. 

She snapped a picture of her pancakes and called Logan. "I love you so much Logan, now you have me a blubbering mess. I am the luckiest woman in the world. Thank you so much, baby, for just being you. I love you, Logan Huntzberger."

Logan smiled on the other end of the line. "I am really liking the sound of that, Mrs. Logan Huntzberger. I am so glad you liked the pancakes. I love you to Rory more than you will ever truly know. I truly can't wait to see you walk down that aisle today. I haven't had a good night's sleep since you have been gone. I woke up at five this morning. I am so anxious to get this done and to finally be married to you. Now enjoy your breakfast I love you." 

"I love you too, baby, and I will. Bye, almost hubby." They hung up. 

Just then, his Facebook notification came across the screen and said he was tagged in a photo with Rory Gilmore. Rory Gilmore is with Logan Huntzberger,

Rory posted her picture of her pancakes the caption read: Look at what my man sent me for breakfast, he loves me, he truly loves me. I can not tell you how much this man means to me. I can't even truly put it into words. Some people don't believe in love at first sight or soulmates. I do because our love was love at the first jump, and he knows me as no one else does, or ever could. So, yes, he is my soulmate, and life partner, forever and always. I love you my Master and Commander today we begin our life as husband and wife. I can't wait for this new journey, love always your Ace.

Logan's POV:

Wow, I didn't think my heart could ever love her more than it already does, but my heart just grew to love her more than I already did. I truly love this woman with everything inside of me. I am so glad my parents finally came to accept that she and I are one. He thought. 

He posted a comment on her page: I love the sound of that my Mrs. Logan Huntzberger it has a really nice ring to it. I am really glad you like your breakfast. I wanted to do something special for my girl on our wedding day. You are the woman of my dreams, yes I do truly love you. I always have since that moment outside of your dorm room. Twelve years ago, you and I took that jump that changed both of our lives forever and today we take another jump that will change our lives forever. Today you become my wife, my partner for life, and I can't wait. I love you today, tomorrow, and forever. Love always the Mr. to your Mrs.

He sat there smiling as he scrolled through his pictures through the years. LDB pictures, pictures at Rich man's shoe, the night of her London party, pictures of them at home, even a few from Hamberg, some from London, and one the night that changed their lives forever at the Tango club. The night they conceived their baby, the baby that brought them back together, this pregnancy had to be Fate stepping in after all the years they spent together and they never got pregnant. Then the final goodbye they conceive.

He noticed the time, jumped up, and woke all the guys up. They had sandwiches and then went to take showers. Once again, he took his shower last. He dressed in jeans and a shirt until they changed for the ceremony.

The guys left the house. He locked everything up because he knew they would be gone for almost a month. They loaded into the limo, and the guys were making toasts on the way to campus. 

"How about we stop drinking for now? Today is a very special day, and we don't want any of you drunk before the ceremony," Logan said. 

"Okay, Mate, we will stop drinking, but tonight after the ceremony, we are getting wasted. We will be celebrating an event over ten years in the making," Finn replied with a huge grin across his face.

They arrived at Yale with only forty-five minutes before the ceremony was to start. The parking lot was already full. He walked into the tent and saw it was almost completely full. Everyone smiled and waved as he walked through. He left the tent and headed to their dressing area. 
Finn and Colin had already gone to retrieve their tuxedos.

Rory was sitting at the table writing on a piece of paper. She smiled when she saw Finn and Colin.

"Let me have a look, my love,"  Finn said as he helped her up. Rory stood up and twirled around.

"Oh, my dear, we may need a paramedic on standby because, mother dear, you are going to take my mate's breath away. Absolutely ravishing," Finn replied as he looked at her with a huge smile on his face. 

"Mother, you are absolutely stunning, you, my dear Rory, changed all of our lives for the better," Colin replied while he wiped tears from his cheeks.  

"We must be going, love, we had to grab the tuxedos, and Logan will have our heads if we are late. Good luck, darling. You really look radiant, love. We will be seeing you very shortly when it is time to marry you off." Finn replied as he kissed her on the cheek, and they left.
