The raven head rubbed his eyes as he looked throught the papers. His eyes shifted upwards when he heard soft, muffled sounds sounds. Seconds later Jimin appeared in front of him. His hair all messed up. Eyes and cheeks puffy. And clothes crinkled up.
Yoongi didn't comment anything. Though he wanted to, but right now his work had his complete attention.
"When you did you even wake up?" He heard Jimin ask.
"Who said I went to sleep?" Yoongi asked, without looking up. His tone was enough for Jimin to understand he didn't want to be disturbed right now. Yoongi did try to sleep. He knew he needed to sleep, but he couldn't. He ended up staring at the window for who knows how long before getting up and deciding to do something productive.
His apartment had only one bedroom and the living room attached to the kitchen. So, he usually studied in the living room because his bedroom didn't have enough space for a study table. But, since Jimin was over at this apartment and was sleeping on the couch, he didn't have any choice but to study on the kitchen counter.
"Freaking machine." He heard Jimin mumbled as he the other walked away somewhere.
Yoongi bit the inside of his cheek as he flipped to the next page. He didn't really have any problem with having Jimin over. They anyway had to work at each other's apartment on the project before the conference. And it was better if Yoongi got study in a place he was familiar with.
He coughed a little, realizing his throat was dry and reached out for water. He glared when Jimin reached for the same bottle of water, "You'll lose that hand."
"I'm not saying anything just because this is your house." Jimin grumbled backing away, "Anyways, when do you want to start working on the project?"
Yoongi shrugged, "Anytime is fine by me."
Jimin pressed his lips and nodded, "I'll be right back, then."

The two students sat down on the floor of the living room. Yoongi with a bowl of cereal in his hand as he listed down the projects they could work on. He was nice enough to offer another bowl of cereal to Jimin, but the other refused and settled for nibbing on a granola bar. No one talked, quietly scribbling on loose sheets of paper.
And both of them thought it was better this way, since they didn't get occupied with spiting each other. Though every now and then, when they would look up, they would glare at each without uttering anything.
"Why do you hate me?" Yoongi heard Jimin asked, "Asking out of pure curiousty."
The computer science student rolled his eyes, "I hate all human beings, you ain't anything special."
Jimin narrowed his eyes and scoffed, mumbling 'whatever' under his breath.
"Why do you hate me?" Yoongi asked, getting a little curoius himself. Just wanting to know so that he could annoy the other even more.
Jimin grimmaced, "I've known your for three years. I see how you treat you friends." He growled, "How are those damned machines worth more than human lives, Min?"
Yoonig put on a expressionless face as he stared at Jimin. His eyes being drained of every hint light as he curled up his fist. And then a smirk showed on his face, "Why don't take a look at yourself, you'll get an answer."
