Jimin woke up in the middle of the night, gasping for breath. Another nightmare. He placed his hand over his chest, feeling his hand heart beat vigorously against his chest. He gulped and licked his chapped lips. Looking around the unfamiliar setting. He remembered he was at Taehyung's house. They had promised that once Jimin got back from Japan, they would have movie nights. And today was one of those nights, but all three of them were too tired to stay up past midnight. He was in the Jungkook's room and two of his friends were in the the Taehyung's room.
He groaned, rubbing his temple. The fear hanging onto his neck. He knew he won't be able to go back to sleep any time soon. Even though he desperately wanted to fall back asleep again. Groaning with the uncomfortable sensation all over his body, he reached to the night table and switched on the lamp.
He sighed when the comforting purple light illuminated the room. He slumped his body, taking in deep breaths to calm himself. He ran his fingers to his hairs. Finding the tips of it damp from sweat.
He didn't remember what he dreamt of. He just remembered at the pain... and being saved.
Jimin licked his lips once again. His throat dry. He got up to get some water. His feet patting quietly over the floor as he walked over to the kitchen. He cursed himself for his clumsiness as he walked into the corner of a table and almost knocked it over.
Flipped the light switch on, he walked into the kitchen and filled a glass of water for himself. As he was drinking it, he spotted a journal of sorts lying on the ground. "Ah, these two. Won't keep their things in places." Jimin sighed, and went to pick it. He frowned realizing he hadn't seen the journal before. If Taehyung and Jungkook ever got a personal diary for themselves, they made sure to tell Jimin about it. Only because he was a curious person and searched around the house for random things. And if he ever came across those diaries, he would simply put them aside and search for something else that caught his attention.
Though the diary piqued his interest, he didn't open it to read and decided to just it on Jungkook's study table. Sleepily, he trudged back to Jungkook's room and placed it on the edge of the table. Just as he was about to fall back on the bed, he heard the sound of something dropping.
"Argh... lemme sleep." Jimin grumbled under his breath and went to see what it was.
Irked at the sight of the fallen diary, Jimin was so close to yelling out from frustration. In the dimply lit something caught his eyes. He squinted his eyes and bent down. After the fall the pages of the diary had flipped open. He tried reading the page but realized the light was too low to properly make out the words.
He got up, picking the diary, and closed the door to the room. Then he switched the lights on and sat down on his bed.
The page that was open, had a grid made on it. Several small boxes for each day of a month. The entire page having enough boxes for a year. For most of the grid, the boxes were empty, and then suddenly they started to get filled. He read the heading: Progress through the year
He flipped to the next page. There were a few entries dated about a month ago. It was made by both Jungkook and Taehyung. Jimin furrowed his brow a little more in confusion and started reading.
July, 3rd:
KTH: Jimin had another attack during school. I don't know, it only seems as if he is getting worse day by day. I feel so damn helpless. No matter what, his condition seems to deteriorate.
