Jimin's finger's rushed to put on the buttons of his shirt. It was the day of the conference, and of course Jimin did something because of which he was now late. As soon as he clothes were properly worn, he sprinted out of the bathroom and picked up his backpack. Yoongi was already out of the room, and waiting for him downstairs. He remember the other clearly stating that if Jimin wasn't down by the next fifteen minutes, he would leave by himself.

"Ah shit!" Jimin cursed, as he walked out of the room and closed the door behind him. Thankfully, Yoongi had taken the keys beforehand because Jimin didn't think about them for once until he locked the door behind him.

He anxiously tapped his feet on the floor as he waited for the elevator to reach the ground floor. Jimin glanced down at his phone to check the time and realized he was late, and that meant Yoongi would've left without. He groaned, wanting his to hit his head against the wall. It's not that he couldn't go alone, but Yoongi knew exactly where the conference was taking place.

He opened his phone once again to message Yoongi, and walked out the elevator when he heard the pinging sound. Just as he did, he walked right into something. Or to be exact, someone.

"First, you're late. And now you can't even see where you're going." Jimin's eyes widen a little when he looked up to hear the familiar voice.

"Machine?"

"Human."

"Wait, you didn't leave?" Jimin asked, surprised.

"No, because if I did, you would be lost before you could say 'conference'. Now get up." Yoongi grumbled rolling his eyes.

Jimin was still surprised to know that Yoongi hadn't left like he said he would. And also because this was the longest conversation they had since the fight that day. Ever since then, they both hardly talked to each other unless it was something important related to the competition. No insults or anything. Jimin realized then, that bickering with Yoongi had taken up a huge part of his daily life. He had hours of time he didn't know what to do with.

And honestly, those words that day, they hurt him more than they would've. But Jimin couldn't help it. He had a horrible dream earlier that day, and when he tried calling Taehyung and Jungkook, both of them didn't pick up. He didn't want to think about the worst, but the fear clawed onto his mind.

He couldn't think or do anything properly. Checking his phone repeatedly as he waited for his friends to call back. He was able to breathe properly only after his friends called him back. And then Yoongi lashed out like that, which took him completely by surprised. And the horrible feeling came crashing back.

He was mindlessly walking after Yoongi, getting in after the other hailed a cab. He noted Yoongi wasn't carrying a bag like him, but held a notepad in his hand. The raven glanced over to his side, and then at his bag before picking it up. Jimin raised his eyebrow at the other, who only shrugged before putting in his notepad and handing the bag to back to him.

"How long is the conference?" Jimin asked.

"Three halves, for the entire day." Yoongi answered, "We're are supposed to stay for the first half, but if we want we can stay afterwards."

"How do you know all this?" Jimin asked, furrowing his brow in confusion.

He watched as Yoongi reached into his back pocket and got out a pamphlet and passed it to him. It contained the timetable for the entire conference. It had the name of all the people who were going to give the speeches in order.
