chapter 17: "the married couple act"

Leorio's pov:

Leorio was not ready for what kurapika as going to do next. Nor would he ever be he guessed. He was totally right. When kurapika Leaned over the seat and let go of him cupping his face in his long slender hands. Oh boy was he not ready for what happened next.

He leaned over and kissed him full on the mouth. Sweat tears moisture and all. He didn't mind that as much though. It was pika and he tasted and looked good no matter what. Him on the other hand... Let's not even talk about him!! He was a mess every single day almost.

Pika would complain constantly "leorio you stink, when's the last time you took a bath?" Or his "favorite" One: "leorio your looking kinda scruffy and rough around the edges. Want me to help you?" And that insulted him greatly. Not that he minded pika helping him out in a wife like way.

But he acted like he was incapable of doing stuff on his own!! He was a grown man for crying out loud!! He wouldn't tell him that, and ofc he would let it continue. He thought it was cute how pika acted like the wife and he was like the husband of the relationship.

He was definitely mamapika when gon and killua were around him. And get this gon had even called him mom once. And I could tell that pika loved it but wouldn't ever admit it. When gon said that his face lit up with so much joy he could tell.

And gon had even called him dad before as well!! It touched his heart like nothing else could. As soon as gon said those words his stomach got tons of butterflies in it and he got a little giddy with light Headedness. He loved thinking that his own kurapika was like the mama, and ofc he was like the Papa.

Sometimes to be honest they actually acted like a married couple. They would bicker for hours on end and then by the end of the day it would be all lovey-dovey. He missed thoes days. He missed them badly he so  wanted to go back to thoes days. But unfortunately that wasn't optional.

All he had now was this pika right in front of him. This beautiful red eyed devil. He was the sweetest when he wanted to be. He had him and he wouldn't ever want anything else. Well... He might have beacuse now a red eyed pika was glaring at him.

Whoops. What were they doing again? He hadn't really kept up with all of it. He smiled at the ticked off male nervously knowing what was about to happen. You did not want to tick kurapika off when he had the red eyes. That was a no-no if you wanted to live out your life.

"Leorio...!! Leorio!! We're you even listening to anything I said...?" He tried to mask his hurt the best he could but it was still there. He could hear and see it as he lowered his head and his voice cracked ever so slightly. Now he regretted not listening to him for the past 5 minutes. He cupped his face and brought it up to his.

Kurapika blushed a little and tried to wipe his tears away but I wouldn't let him. I held on firmly while he adverted my gaze and squrimed uncomfortable trying to get away. I would not let him leave hurt with me again. I would not let repeat what happened again. I wouldn't let go of him again. He looked back into them and I made him keep his gaze at me.

He blushed again and his eyes turned a scarlet red Indicating that he was highly embarrassed. He smiled softly and rubbed his cheek. "Go ahead pika. I'll give you my full attention this time. And no distractions this time I promise. So say what you were going to say to me." He nodded not needing any further prompting and proceeded to tell him.

"Well... What I was saying was... Some... Words that I thought you might want to hear... But it seems that you were having other things on your mind...at that time... It's ok I don't mind it much..." He was lying. He was lying to his face. He knew it to by the way he wouldn't look him in the eyes.

He sighed and made him look at him showing kurapika his not amused face. All the color drained from his face as he knew that leorio knew that he was lying. Yeah pika I do know and I've know for awhile so answer me. Kurapika sighed and looked at him

"... Alright!! I lied leorio!! It bothered me very much and I got a little... Jealous... But not to much ok!! J-just a little...!! Got that!? Just a little!! But... What... Or Who were you thinking about leorio...?" Now it was pika's turn to speak his question. And leorio would answer as truthfully as he needed.

"Well pika... To be honest I was actually thinking about how things used to be... When we were married. If you wanted to know that's what I was thinking. Not about anybody else pika. I wouldn't think about them and get lost in thinking about them. It's only you and will only ever be you. And that's the truth."

You should have seen the way pika's face lit up when leorio said that to him. It was like a difference between night and day. And it was beautiful. He beamed like the sun and leaned over to give him a great reward. He kissed him full on the mouth. And leorio loved his payment very much. He pulled his pika close and to him. Pika just blushed really hard and didn't complain.

It's obvious to leorio that he craved attention from him and he intended to give it to him with all he had. He just laughed and beamed even more. Ah he loved this side of his pika. His beautiful sunshine. "Hey pika... Do you maybe want to go on that date now...? Or I'm totally fine with this arrangement as well."

He nodded and pulled away to his dismay but it had to be done. Yeah... Your right!! If we don't go now well never get there baka!!" He laughed his beautiful laugh again. The laugh that he so loved.  He wanted to keep telling things to make him laugh forever.

"Yeah!! Haha!! I second that statement pika!!" He turned the key in the ignition and pulled the car in drive. He pulled out and cursed a little as he almost hit another car. That's one way to ruin a relationship!! Great going me!! If your dead then you can't exactly be together!! Or so he thought. Hey who knew what happened when you die except dead people?

Pika must have cursed in kurta beacuse he didn't understand one dam thing he was saying. "LEORIO!! WHAT THE HELL!! YOU COULD'VE KILLED US!! DRIVE RIGHT OR LET ME DRIVE!!" his eye twitched now beacuse he was an annoyed angry. Let him drive? Was he kidding him? Could he even DRIVE!?

He guessed not. Ok time for the second married couples fight of the day. "LET YOU DRIVE!! ARE YOU CRAZY!! DO YOU WANT TO KILL US!?" Yeah he wasn't being very nice but neither was pika to be honest.

And this continued without stop till all the way they got there. Then it kinda stopped Arubtully
As pika gawked at the nicest place leorio had picked out just for him.

"Well here we are pika... The place I'm taking you out to!!"
