Karma was popular with girls despite being a student of 3 E. He attracted the attention of many girls from the main campus and he especially attracted the attention of Kurosawa Karen, a hot brunette and a student of 3 A. Not only was Karen good at sports, she was also good in studies and other extra curricular activities. She was also a former classmate of Karma and has been having a thing for Karma from the time they became classmates.

One fine day while the students 3 E were coming back from the main building Karen steps in front of Karma and Nagisa.

"Kurosawa san, how have you been?" Greets Nagisa with a smile.

"Ugh... I'm not here to talk to you. I'm here for someone else." Karen walks up to Karma and leans in super close to him.

"Akabane Karma, I never usually do this to anyone but we're going on a date tonight."

Her actions didn't seem to bother Karma but it seems like they were bothering someone else. Manami who was standing just next Karma was not having it at all.

"How can she just orders Karma kun to go on a date with her. Hmph... Karma kun will surely turn her down."

Despite talking to herself inside her mind, it was clear from Manami's face that she was not liking all these things at all. Karma notices that Manami was looking upset and suddenly his eyes lit up.

"Okay." Answers Karma.

Manami, Nagisa and others present in that place were all gasping in shock.

"But on one condition." Adds Karma.

"What is it?" Asks Karen.

"I want it to be double date. I'll bring a girl friend of mine and you bring a guy friend of yours. "

Karen was irked but she accepts the condition and informs him the venue.

School was over and Manami and Karma were walking back. Manami was not talking to Karma at all and Karma was actually enjoying that the girl he loves was jealous.

"You're awfully quiet."

"Why did you say yes to her for the date?" Asks an upset Manami.

"I didn't want to break her heart." Teases Karma. "And I'm single too you know." He chuckles.

"It's just I'm worried about you. What if you she asks you out and you..... You.... You.... " Manami couldn't utter her words but Karma understood what she wanted to ask.

He chuckles and brushes her hair which seems to always be able to comfort her.

"Well if you're worried, you can come with me for the double date." Says Manami.

The idea sounded crazy but Manami was more than ready to accompany Karma to the date.

Karma and Manami reached the restaurant where they were supposed to meet for the double date. The waiter takes them to their reserved seat where they meet Karen and Manami's date who was none other than Asano who seemed as uninterested as Karma. Karen makes Karma sit with her and forces Manami to sit with Asano.

"I've been waiting for you." Winks Karen while Karma gave a don't care look.

Asano had seen that Manami was uncomfortable, he turns to her and offers her a glass of water. Manami takes a sip of the water and tries to relax herself but she just couldn't bear to see Karen so close to Karma. She gripped the glass of water tightly.

"So, I heard people tell me that you probably won't date me." Scoffed Karen.

"Hmmm... Why though?" Asks Karma.
