R - Riku

Idol Riku started his career at the age of just 14 and now in just 3 years
has gainedna lot of popularity among the girls of Japan and the girls of Kungigaoka were no exception. He was young, handsome and had a charming personality, the girls of class 3 E were also his fan, something the guys of 3 E couldn't understand.

"In what way is he good looking? He's got those usually big eyes and if girls think they're attractive then they all need to get their eyes checked." Says Terasaka

"People who aren't good looking consider others to not good looking too." Taunts Karma.

"Huh. How dare you Karma." Terasaka clenches his fist and was almost ready to punch him when something strikes his brain. He smirks wickedly.

"Well, I heard Okuda has a ticket to his show tomorrow and it's a VIP ticket."

Terasaka lengthens VIP and it got the reaction from Karma he expected. Karma gave Terasaka a cold, deadly look.

Karma silently walks outside the classroom and into the science lab where Manami was busy with her experiments.

"Oh Karma kun I made a new potion, it's a spray that is as strong as super glue." Manami proudly shows the bottle of spray.

"Okuda san, are you really going to the concert of that idol tomorrow." Asks Karma.

"Yes, I jokingly bought a ticket together with Kayano san and Kanzaki san and we won the VIP tickets."

"All 3 of you?"

"Yes all 3 of us."

Karma breathes a sigh of relief but he still didn't have a good feeling about things.

"A-Are tickets still available?" He mumbles in between.

"Heh? You want to go too?" Asks a surprised Manami.

"I-I enjoy his music-------- yeah." He chuckles nervously.

"Really? That's so nice to hear." Manami cheers unaware of the truth.

"I think tickets are still available the front rows are probably full."

Karma gets lost into deep thinking, he was thinking something.

It was the day of the concert, Kanzaki, Kayano and Manami were beautifully dressed up for their VIP seats. Riku arrived an hour late but this didn't seem to bother the fans gathered there except for Karma, he complained to himself and was probably regretting coming to the concert, but he was more concerned about the person in front of him who seemed to be enjoying the concert.

Yes, Karma somehow bribed a fan and takes the row behind the VIP seats.

The fangirls wouldn't stop screaming and shouting as Riku would approach them, he steps down to the VIP section and Karma gets alert instantly. Riku walks towards the three girls while singing, he winks at Kayano and her behavior was as expected, he then proceeds to brush Kanzaki's hair and she too had the same expression, he then sees Manami and stops in front of her while he continued singing, Karma could feel the tension in him rising, he could feel his uneasiness rising.

Riku takes Manami's rihand causing a reaction from Karma to reach to her but it was too far away. He takes Manami's hand like a gentleman and kisses it. Karma grabs the wooden handle tight, so tight it almost crushes it. He turns to Manami whose face was as red as an apple, he could see her face from the side and it seems like she was really happy and blushing heavily.

The concert was over but looks like the girls were still having a hangover for the next few days. Karma still couldn't get the image of Manami blushing at Riku's gesture. He sees her humming one of Riku's song and experimenting on things. He walks up to her.

"Seems like you loved that concert huh?"

"It was really good, I had so much fun there." Answers Manami as she blushes a little and this irks Karma a little.

"That idol. Why did he only kiss your hand and not Kanzaki San or Kayano san's hand?" Asks a nervous Karma.

"He said he really likes girls with glasses. How cute of him." Manami chuckles

"D-Do you li-like him?" Stammers Karma while asking her.

"Hmmmmm...... You can say that."

"Eh?"

Karma looked horrified. Did he actually hear that right? Does Manami actually like Idol Riku? Does Manami not like him anymore. All these thoughts were running inside his brain and he was lost in his thoughts until Manami snaps him out of it.

"You're really lost in your thoughts these days." She chuckles.

Karma hides his embarrassed face.

"Anyways Karma kun. Where did you go missing, the show wasn't even half done when you left."

"I-I wasn't feeling good."

"You should've stayed. You know we were able to meet Riku san personally and we got his autograph too." Manami squeals in excitement.

"Riku San was so kind, he was so gentle."

"G-Gentle?" Karma's eyes widened.

Manami steps out of the room, still humming Riku's song while a dumbfounded Karma stood frozen in his place. Manami didn't like him anymore, that idol guy has captured her heart now. He was murmuring to himself, wondering the worst of things when he hears Manami laughing. He turns around and sees Manami laughing at him.

"O-Okuda san?"

"Karma kun, you are easy to read when you're jealous."

Karma blushes.

"I-I'm not jealous. It was just that I ------------ was wondering-"

"Wondering if I'm into Riku san now?" Manami raises her eyebrows.

Karma was silent.

"I like Riku san but there's nothing more than that."

Karma looks at Manami, confused by her answer.

"It's just how one likes an actor or a sports star or a singer. It's not love." Adds Manami.

Karma felt like a huge load had just been lifted from his face. He had a genuine relief look on his face.

"So does that mean you still----?"

Manami walks up to him and places a quick kiss on his cheeks and walks away again. Karma blushes and touches his cheeks where Manami had kissed him. He was content that Manami was not into Riku. He felt really really happy.
