S - Second Button

It was graduation day in Kunugigaoka, so girls were on the look for a second button from the guys the had a crush on. Some girls got while some didn't. Manami was amongst those who wasn't really aware of this tradition so when she heard about it she was somewhat excited for it.

After being protected by the students of main campus from the news hungry reporters, the students of 3 E stepped inside the bus. Manami who was sitting with Kayano was fidgeting around, her eyes we're searching for someone.

"Okuda san, what happened?"

"Oh- N-Nothing."

Kayano could see her friend's nervousness and her eyes that were constantly searching for someone. She realizes that it was probably Karma. She gets up and walks to Nagisa and Karma and talks something to them and Manami sees Karma getting up and walking up to her. Manami's face flushed, her heart was beating fast.

Karma sits next to her and sighs.

"Can't believe we're graduates already."

"Y-Yeah." She chuckles.

Manami turns to ask for his second button when she sees it was already missing.

"Karma kun, your second button?"

"Oh this? I gave it to a girl."

"Hah?" Manami was beyond shocked.

"But-But it-its for-"

"I don't believe in all these nonsense but I just could not resist giving it to her, she's become really special to me."

Manami was silent. Who is this girl? Did he really find someone else or was it her? If it was her then when did he give her? Was he playing a prank on her or was he serious.

"K-Karma kun, a-are you serious?" She asks.

"Yeah, I am really serious." Karma smiles.

Manami felt disappointed, she was sad, she wanted to cry.

"You know she's really beautiful, probably the most beautiful woman ever and she's a little older than me but I don't mind that. Our kids are going to be really awesome." He chuckles.

He's already talking about kids and she was really beautiful, that sure isn't her. Manami was thinking all things that she didn't want to. She was also getting annoyed at how he could talk about a girl so nonchalantly.

"Anyways, you're coming tomorrow the class' farewell right?" Asks Karma.

"I-----------I don't know." Answers Manami while ignoring Karma.

The bus stops, Manami's house was here. Manami rushes out without looking or saying goodbye to Karma. She goes straight to her room and keeps her bag away and takes a shower. While in the shower, she couldn't stop thinking about what Karma said about that girl, she wanted to cry but she controlled herself.

She steps out of the shower and changes into her pajamas. She wanted to forget about Karma, so she did all things possible to forget him. She cleaned her room which was already clean, she takes out her neatly folded clothes and folds them again, she takes out the books from her bags and arranges them in the book shelf when something drops out. Manami checks what she dropped and her eyes widens when she sees a button.

"A button?" She exclaims.

Her heart was beating fast. She checks the button properly hoping it was Karma's button.

"Is it Karma kun's button?" She asks herself.

"It is indeed." Answers Karma.

Manami turns back and sees Karma on the window.

"Took you long to find that button, I waited here for more than an hour, you know." He chuckles.

"N-No I was just--------------I thought-"

Karma steps inside her room.

"You thought it was for someone else?" He raises his eyebrows.

Manami was muttering, she didn't know what to answer him. Karma leans in close, he was on top of Manami. He runs his soft hands down Manami's cheeks and tilts her chin up.

"There's no one for me but you, Okuda san." He says in a sweet seductive tone.

Manami could feel the blood rushing to her face. Karma leans in even closer to Manami, their lips were a breathe away from each other.

"Manami, dinner is ready." Calls Manami's mother.

A startled Manami pushes Karma away.

"I'm C-coming"

Manami composes herself and was about to walk out of the room when Karma tugs on her PJs.

"What is it?" Asks a nervous and impatient Manami.

"You look beautiful in your PJs." He chuckles.

Manami blushes.

"Jeez Karma kun, you love teasing me."

Karma brushes her soft hair.

"Let's go meet your parents."

"Heh? No No No No. Don't come down please, my family will kill me." A panicked Manami tries stopping Karma from meeting her parents, it seriously would be bad and awkward if a guy just comes out of her room to meet her parents.

Karma pouts.

"I------I'll bring dinner for both of us but don't come down, Okay?" Pleads Manami.

Karma happily accepts Manami's proposal, he would do anything to spend an extra second with the woman he dearly loves.  Manami brings rice along with miso soup and some meat. Karma demands Manami to feed him and teasingly eating her food.
