Karmanami: A-Z One shots

V - Valentine.

It was the 14th of February and it was a Saturday. Manami bakes hand made chocolate, she had baked a few pieces of it and baked a special box for her crush at that time Yamanaka Shin.

Manami wraps a pink ribbon across the heart shaped box 💖. She was doing it for the first time so she was really excited for it.

"I hope senpai likes my chocolates." She blushes as she smiles for herself.

After class Manami was ready to give Shin the chocolates but she was surprised when she sees a larger number of girls gathered outside Shin's class.

"Umm... Excuse me, what is going on here?" Manami asks one of the girls.

"We're all here to give Shin senpai chocolates." Answered the girl.

"All these girls?" Asks a surprised Manami.

"I actually heard that this year it's a little less because senpai is getting competitions from freshers, but I'm her for Shin senpai only." Smiled the girl crazily to herself.

Manami felt a little disappointment seeing so many girls but she wanted to give the chocolate she made to her crush and so decides to wait for her turn.

Shin's minions were controlling the girls and one by one each girl stepped forward with their own chocolates.

"Shin senpai, this is chocolate from Belgium, I brought it especially for you."

The girl looked really happy with her gift, Shin turns and thanks her causing her to almost faint from happiness.

One by one each girl brought something costly or something international and slowly the girls were lessening. A girl with twin pigtails steps forward with a chocolate box similar to Manami, seems like she had also made handmade chocolate.

"S-Shin senpai, I've got chocolates for you too. I made them with own hands, I hope you-"

"Wait! Your own hands?" Shin raises an eye brow.

"Y-Yes." Answers the nervous girl.

"I'm really sorry but I don't eat handmade chocolates." Says Shin.

The girl was heartbroken and so was Manami. She had tears in her eyes.

"But I-I made it with so much dedication." Pleaded the girl.

"I know but I just can't trust eating hand made chocolates. I'm sorry."

The Minions send away the girl.

"If anyone has hand made chocolates then you can leave. Shin doesn't eat them." Announced his minions.

A few girls including Manami leave the place, disappointed and a little heartbroken. Manami was heartbroken as well. She takes her chocolates and walks outside, she sees a trash can and was about to throw the chocolates when she sees Karma handing some chocolates to young kids. She was surprised when she sees him with around a dozen of boxes.

"Karma kun?"

Karma turns around and sees Manami walking up to her.

"Woah, Okuda san, how are you?" Answers Karma as he hands the last box to the kids.

"Seems like you got a lot of chocolates yourself."

"Pffft..... I've never liked receiving chocolates but I couldn't turn down the girls also."

Manami felt her heart warm up. There was so much difference between him and Shin. He was ready to do something he didn't like just to make sure it doesn't hurt people. She was lost in her thoughts when Karma brings her back to the real world.

"Looks like you've got chocolates for someone as well." Karma raises his eyebrows.

A startled Manmai tries hiding her chocolate but she realized that it was of no use.

"I wanted to give to someone but that didn't work out." She sighs in disappointment.

Karma suddenly snatches the box from Manami, she tries to grab it back but his tall height only makes her look more like a toddler. Karma opens the box.

"Woah... The chocolates look really good." Says Karma.

Manami blushes.

"They're nothing special." Protested Manami.

"They're handmade right?"

Manami nods.

"Then they are special. I want to try if you don't mind." Says Karma.

Manami didn't know what to respond to him, she was happy that someone was going to try her chocolates but it was someone she didn't have romantic feelings for.

"Y-you can have it." Answers a nervous Manami.

Karma takes a piece and eats the whole piece, Manami could feel her heart beating very rapidly. She sees a blank expression on his face before his eyes started glowing.

"These are the best chocolate I've ever tasted."

"T-Thank you."

Manami was blushing, she was blushing heavily. She knew the chocolates would be good but the expression Karma made was just so special, she was unknowingly smiling at him when Karma turns to her. Manami quickly turns her face away and hides her face.

Karma takes a piece of chocolate and extends it to Manami.

"Eh?"

"Try your own chocolate."

Manami takes the piece and eats it. It was good.

"Aren't you upset I ate the chocolates instead of the guy you intended to give them to?" Asks Karma.

"I don't mind, actually I'm happy you're the one who had them." Smiles Manami.

Karma smiles back and proceeds to eat the rest of the chocolates. The two walk back home and Karma drops Manami till her house.
