The sound of trumpets alerted everyone that they games were beginning. The champions made their way to the center of the arena, while each school chanted their champion's name.

"KRUM! KRUM! KRUM! KRUM!" shouted the students from Durmstrang.

"DIGGORY! DIGGORY! DIGGORY! DIGGORY!" shouted some of the Hogwarts students.

I noticed that the Beauxbatons students created their own cheer sequence, instead of shouting Fleur's name. As well as many of the Hogwarts students were not cheering Harry on; this was expected though. Many did not want him in the games, but surprisingly, he has made it this far.

I clapped and cheered instead of joining in on the chants, I didn't want to pick sides. If it were my choice, both Cedric and Harry would win. But sadly, that was not how the game worked.

"GO KRUM! GO HARRY!" Hermione shouted.

"You forgot my boyfriend..." I scoffed, interrupting her chants.

"SORRY!" she shouted as she turned to me, "GO CEDRIC TOO?"

"Go Cedric?" I mimicked, "Don't die I guess? I don't know."

Hermione and I bursted out into laughter. We were very different, yet we made sense. She wasn't always super fond of me because of my family, and the way I behaved when I was younger. I didn't blame her though. But it was nice that we put all of this in the past because we've been inseparable since.

{FLASHBACK}

"See you've got a new seeker?" Oliver Wood scoffed. He was wondering why the Slytherin Quidditch team was practicing at the same time the Gryffindor Quidditch team usually practiced.

Draco confidently strutted out of the crowd of older quidditch players, and came face-to-face with Gryffindor's keeper.

"Malfoy?" Harry spat.

"That's right," Draco spat, "And that's not all that's new this year."

The Slytherin team put forth their broomsticks; the words "Nimbus 2001" were engraved on the side. The Gryffindor team gasped in shock at the new brooms, especially Oliver because that man loved quidditch.

"Those are Nimbus 2001s!" Ron exclaimed, "Where did you get those?"

"A gift from Draco's father." Marcus Flint scoffed.

"You see, Weasley, unlike some," Draco bragged, "My father can afford the best!"

"At least nobody on the Gryffindor team had to buy their way in," Hermione scoffed, joining into the argument, "They got in on pure talent!"

The Gryffindor team smiled at this remark, while the Slytherin team's grin dropped. Draco rolled his eyes as he got up in Hermione's face, glaring at her. Hermione stood her ground, glaring back.

"Nobody asked your opinion," Draco spat, "You filthy little mudblood."

Everybody gasped at what Draco said. He surveyed her disgustingly one last time before turning away. Ron leapt at Draco, but I quickly held him back to prevent a fight.

"What is wrong with you, Draco?" I shouted at him while holding Ron back.

"Oh!" Draco scoffed as he whipped around, "So not only are you friends with blood-traitors, you've become one! How's that going over with mother and father?"
