Quinn's POV:

I wake up to my phone ringing it's Emery, *GOOD MORNING!* she yells into the phone, *Good morning Em.* I say back yawning, *Be ready I'm coming to pick you up!* she says hanging up the phone after, I sit up in my bed for a bit just thinking, it's been 7 years since the last time I've been here, I managed to find some of my old friends, Emery, Jade and Sophie. I'm not going to lie though I'm nervous for my first day back well it's a new year so no one is really going to know me which is fine I didn't really care. I get out of my bed to get dressed, blue jeans, black shirt and a red flannel, we're being simple today. I pack my things in my backpack and I walk downstairs seeing my mom sitting at the dining table, "Good morning mom." I say to her and she looks up from her phone, "Good morning Quinn, are you ready?" she asks while also taking a picture, "Ready as I'll ever be I guess, Emery is taking me to school" I tell and she smiles, "Good to see you with your old friends again, speaking of that did you have that dream, with the girl?" She looks up at me, "Yeah I did" I say back, looking down at the ground, for the past few days I've had the same recurring dream and it's me as kid with another girl the same age and it's just weird but I don't think anything of it because I have no idea who the girl is. I hear a car honk and I say bye to my mom and I walk outside.

I see Emery run up to me giving me a hug, "My bestfriend is back." She squeezes me tighter and I wrap my arms around her, "You have no idea how much I missed you." I tell her and she let's go, "So awesome news pretty much everyone from fourth grade is going to the same school, and there's a new girl her name is Arya we met her in fifth grade, but she didn't replace you she was just a new addition." She describes  with a smile on her face and we hop back in her car to get to school, "So you, me, Jade, Sophie and that new girl Arya?" I ask and she raises an eyebrow, "Yup and Emmi, Daisy, Lukas and Anna" she looks at me a little confused, "Yeah yeah them too" I say back.

Emery's POV:

I hope Quinn really didn't forget about Anna, they were really close in fourth grade and Anna was sad everyday of that summer because Quinn never visited and she really didn't like 5th grade either because Quinn was gone, it wasn't until sophomore year, that's when she me Ryan, the boy's soccer captain, he's nice and all but I don't think he's the one for Anna but he's been able to make Anna happy but it's never permanent. "You do remember Anna right?" I ask her and she sits there quiet for a second, "I can't believe you forgot about her" I say covering my mouth, "NO NO I didn't forget about her well maybe for a little but it was never on purpose I swear I begged mom everyday that summer to go see her but she always said no, then I just stopped talking about her and thinking about her till I moved back here again." She says digging her face into her palms, hopefully they'll still have their connection again, but hearing Quinn like this I don't think it will save them, and I know Anna will be hurt a little.

Anna's POV:

I wake up to my alarm and I look at my phone turning it off. I put it down seeing Ryan snoring beside me in my bed, he snores like a fucking lion Jesus. His brown hair all messy and drool sliding out of the corner of his mouth. "Hey get up time for school." I yawn poking him in his back. "Do I have to?" he yawns back, "Yes you do, now lets go." I say again, getting up from my bed to go to the bathroom and I see my older brother Tommy inside, our rooms are connected by this bathroom, "Good morning Anna!" he says brushing his teeth, "Good morning Tommy, good luck with college today." I say to him washing my face, "Yeah good luck." I hear Ryan say as he enters the bathroom getting some toothpaste from Tommy and he doesn't say anything he looks at me with a glare and Ryan walks out. "Are you kidding me Anna? Ryan sleeps here now, I didn't know mom and dad let shit in the house." Tommy spits out his toothpaste and washes his toothbrush, "Does mom even know he's here?" He asks walking up to me, "No she doesn't." I say back looking down, "You're lucky mom and dad are at work," he says and I look back up at him, "Make sure he doesn't make a mess, last time he was here I had to clean." he says walking out of the bathroom to his room.

He never did like Ryan, they played soccer together when Tommy was still in high school and he wasn't happy when I told him we were together, they had drama and it didn't end well. My mom is okay with him and so is my dad but they don't love him, and my little brother Brandon likes to play a game of Ryan's Invisible, Ryan messed up saying his name so Brandon doesn't like him because of that, I mean I don't blame him though Ryan said 'Brennen' and I wasn't exactly happy with him when that happened. I get dressed as Ryan watches me, "Um you were having that dream again." I hear him say and I know exactly what he's talking about, "Oh, well I can't control them so." I say back pulling a baggy shirt over my head, "I know but it's been happening for a few days now." he stands beside me, "Who is she?" he looks at me holding my hand, "I don't know Ryan, I really don't." I take my hand out of his grip and I grab my backpack then we walk downstairs.

"Good morning Anna." Brandon jumps down from his seat and gives me a hug, "Good morning Brandon." I greet back giving him a squeeze and he let's go, he looks at Ryan who just waves at him, Brandon looks back at me and I give him a eyeroll making him laugh a bit and he goes back to eat. "He didn't do anything?" Ryan whispers in my ear, "Well yeah all you did was wave at him." I walk away going to the fridge to grab a water bottle, "Oh Anna, Tommy is going to take me to school." he says putting the spoon of cereal in his mouth, "Okay I'll be picking you up then, but I have to go so I'll see you later." I walk back to him giving a kiss on the top of his head, "Okay bye!" he waves at me, giving Ryan a thumbs down, making me smile. "BYE TOMMY!" I yell up the stairs grabbing my keys from the hook. "BYE ANNA HAVE FUN, BYE SHITHEAD!" he yells back down and Ryan gives me sad face, and we walk out the door, "Don't give me that look it's not my fault they don't like you," I say to him hoping in the drivers seat, "Why though?" He asks, is he serious right now, "Well first of all you can't get Brandon's name right it isn't that hard at all, it's literally the name Bran- Don- not that hard, Ry- an and for Tommy you use his stuff without asking, you never ask. Literally like thirty minutes ago you used his toothpaste without asking." I rant before I start driving, "But me and Tommy are buddies." he says going on his phone, "Yeah right okay." I scoff.
