51. A Little Less Normal

4 Days till the Dance

Quinn's POV:

I rub my eyes open, I look down seeing Anna smiling at me, "Were you watching me sleep Boon?" I ask her and I wrap one arm around her and I take the other laying it on my eyes. "Yeah you're cute when you sleep, even if you drool just a little." She laughs a little and I crack a smile, this girl I swear. "What time is it?" I ask, "It's like five am." I'm sorry did she say 5 am 5, I shoot up in the bed and she sits up too, "Really? Why are we up so early." I stretch my body yawning, "Good question I don't know, but we can get breakfast if you want, Tommy is back so Brandon won't be alone." She tells me and I rub my eyes again, she's in my hoodie, "Breakfast sounds great, and also you have like three of my hoodies, so I can I have one of yours since there's a good chance I'm never getting my hoodies back." I joke and she laughs, "You're right you're never getting these back." She walks to her closet and grabs a grey hoodie and tosses it. I throw it on and I lay back onto her bed, "Happy?" She asks, "Very happy." I smile at her. "Good but come on I'm hungry." She whines. I get up again and I grab my overnight bag and I walk to the bathroom to get ready, I checked the weather and it says there's a good chance of rain but not till the afternoon, I'll be fine with a hoodie, I finish getting ready and I walk back into Anna's room.

"Okay Boon are-" I stop talking when she took off my hoodie and all I see is her bare back. Oh lord she wasn't wearing anything underneath, she turns her head around and smirks, "You might want to pick your jaw off the ground bubs." She laughs and I stop staring. Real smooth Quinn wow. "It's done." I tell her and I watch her get ready I should stop watching her, I look out of her window seeing a car pull up, but it's not her parents and it's not Tommy because Anna said he's here. I turn back around seeing her put on a bralette and a pair of black jeans. "Like what you see Bubs?" She asks and I give my attention, "Uhhhhh I- uh-" I couldn't get anything out, I swear she loves to tease me, "I'll that as a yes, leaving you speechless always a good thing." She finishes up and I roll my eyes out. She takes forever to finish but that car is still out there, I walk closer to her window and I see a car without a sunroof, wait that's Ryan's car. "Meet me outside Anna." I tell her and rush downstairs out the front door. I walk to the drivers side and I knock on the window, they roll down the window and it's a man, "Hi can I help you?" I ask him, I glance inside the car and there's no one. "Hi I'm Ryan's dad, who are you?" He puts his hand out, "I'm Quinn, I'm Anna's best friend and I'm close with Tommy and Brandon." I tell him shaking his hand, "Nice to meet you Quinn here this is a few other things that Ryan wanted to give to Anna, don't worry I set him straight he won't be cheating anymore, but I hope you guys have a good day, I'll be going now." He hands me the box and I see him drive away. "Hey Bubs who was that?" I hear Anna close the front door. "Ryan's dad came and said this is some more stuff Ryan wanted to give." I give her the box and she looks inside it, a few minutes later she walks past me and throws the entire thing away. She dusts off her hands steps back in front of me, "I am over him." she smiles making me smile, "Ready for breakfast?" I ask and she nods her head.

We ended up driving separately since my mom wants me home after I'm done with the set up, she texted me saying she has some new for me. I follow Anna through the dunkin drive thru we were wanting to go inside and eat but Anna took forever and then we had that Ryan's dad situation, we both get the same thing and we both get to school, Emery's car is here as always and I spot Jade and Arya walking into the school. I hop out of my car and I wait by Anna's as she takes her sweet time, "Took you long enough." I joke with her and she rolls her eyes at me, "Shut up, let me take my time." She lightly pushes me away, we walk into the school seeing everyone at our spot. "Good morning guys." Emmi waves at us, "Oooh I want a sip." Emery takes my coffee and starts drinking it. "Um Quinn?" I know that voice, I turn around seeing Jennifer still with her brace on, "Hey, do you need something?" I ask her pulling her to the side away from everyone, Anna's death stare might kill her. "Um I just wanted to say I'm sorry" oh? sorry?, "Sorry?" I question, "Yeah I pushed myself onto you when you obviously didn't have any feelings towards me and I'm also sorry for kissing you, that- that wasn't right and um yeah."

Anna's POV:

I watch Quinn and Jennifer and I hear Jennifer say sorry, yeah I bet she is. SHE DOESN'T LIKE YOU NO ONE LIKES YOU. I continue just to overhear their conversation, "Um do you still want to be friends?" Jennifer asks I look at everyone looking at me, "I think it's best if we take time to ourselves and re start, so strangers to acquaintances and see what happens, but you know I like someone so yeah I don't think I'll be liking you anytime soon." YESS BE BLUNT and you like someone?

Quinn's POV:

Jennifer puts out her hand and I shake it, it's not even 8am yet and Ryan's dad came to Anna's house and now Jennifer is apologizing for what she's done. This day is just a little less normal I kinda feel weird about it. "Also is that a new hoodie?" Jennifer asks,

Anna's POV:

"Uh no this is Anna's" I hear her say and I catch myself smiling, "Oh I see we're sharing hoodies now." Emery nudges me, "So?" I rebuttal taking a sip of my coffee, "Awwww your blushing." Arya points out and I shake my head, "Yeah you are." Daisy pokes my cheeks, "I am not." I swat her away, "I mean you guys look great in each others hoodies." Emmi says and I feel my face warm up even more, "Oh yeah she's definitely blushing." Jade scans my face, "Anna admit it you think it's cute too that you're wearing Quinn's hoodie and that she's wearing yours." Soph raises an eyebrow at me, "Yes I think it's cute very cute." I give in. "What's cute?" Quinn joins us again she looks at us for an answer and everyone looks at me, "We think that it's cute that we're wearing each others hoodie." I tell her and she looks down at it and back at everyone else, "Yeah it is cute, I dig it and I'm keeping this by the way since you now own three of mine." She smiles, "That is fine by me, your hoodies are more comfortable anyway." I tell her, "Do y'all ever stop flirting damn." Emery scoffs making everyone laugh. We continue talking and they start bringing up the story from yesterday, then the bell rings, THANK THE LORD. "Alright I'll see you guys later." Soph waves, Quinn comes up and gives me hug before leaving for class like she always does, "You're falling hard." Daisy teases me.
