40. Including Her

Jade's POV:

"So if there were a fight who do you think will win?" I ask the girls and they all look at me, "My money's on Anna." Emmi says and I agree with her, we continue to hear the arguing with each other, I wished I had popcorn. "You're just pissed I had the balls to ask Quinn on a date." Damn Jennifer, "Some balls you have." Anna rebuttals, "AND and at least I have the balls to kiss her she'll go for me and she will leave you, now I can see why Ryan cheated on you." My jaw drops along with everyone else's, she did not. A few seconds later we hear a loud clap sound, Anna slapped Jennifer. "LETS GO ANNA HELL YEAH THATS MY FRIEND!!!" I shout and Emmi covers my mouth.

Meanwhile:

Emery's POV:

"Come on Daisy catch up." I look back as we run towards Quinn, we slow down when we saw her shoot.

*Flashback

"Hey Quinn are you still mad?" I ask her standing underneath the basket passing the ball to her every time she shots, "I don't know I'm just don't like what happened." She says passing the ball to me, "You can shoot too." she adds on and I stand beside her. "You know it will be okay, Carter is just trying to make you mad because he thinks he can win." I tell her and she looks at me, "But Anna agreed with him, so what she believes in him more than me." She sounds sad, "She told me she only agreed with him so that he can leave you alone." I tell her and she looks at the net, "Really?" She asks shooting the ball, "Quinn?" we both turn hearing the ball bounce, "Anna?" she looks at me, "I told you it will be okay." I hit her shoulder, "You're right." she smiles back.

Flashback Ends*

"You need to come back like now." Daisy catches her breath and so do I, "Why? I don't want to see Jennifer right now." she shoots another basket, "We know but Anna's in there and they're getting at each other's throat and we know you can you know prevent this since this is your situation." I tell her and she tops shooting, "Don't let Jennifer win this because you let your anger get in the way, Soph and Arya got running her over in the bag, but you need to be the bigger person otherwise this won't stop." She walks over to us and pulls us both towards her, "Thank you, and you're right come on, but I'm still pissed." she starts going inside and Daisy and I follow her.

Quinn's POV:

I open the door seeing Jennifer get in Anna's face, "You have the audacity-" I cut off Jennifer from stepping between her and Anna stopping her hand from getting anywhere closer to Anna. "Quinn?" she questions, "When I said to leave me alone and get away, that also goes for my friends." she looks at me then behind me to Anna, "Including Her?" She points, "No shit sherlock she's my best friend, so leave us alone, I know we have class together and shit but that doesn't mean I can't ignore you." I tell her and she walks away with her friends and they glare at me till they go out to the parking lot. I turn around seeing Anna stand in front of me, "I'm sorry you had to be caught up in that, it's my fault for not making it clear in the beginning." I tell Anna and I start to walk away but she stops me, "Hey it's not your fault, she pushed herself into you, which makes it her fault, you don't need to apologize, plus I was defending my cr- best friend, defending my best friend, but I'm not particularly happy about the kiss, that, that wasn't exactly what I wanted to happen." She stutters, "Anyways are you doing anything after school?" She asks and I shake my head. "Good, Brandon wants you to watch him play at his game today and then after we can get the ice cream that I owe you." She smiles, "I'd love to see his play and yes you do owe me ice cream." I smile back. We hear the bell ring and she pulls me down wrapping her arms around my neck, "I'll see you later Bubs." She lets go and waves as she walks up the stairs, "See ya Boon." I wave, "AWWWWW!" I hear, I look to my right seeing Emmi, Jade, Emery and Daisy act all excited, "Shut up." I tell them and they start teasing me.

"Oh come on that was cute, I mean you telling Jennifer to basically fuck off especially from Anna." Jade shakes my shoulder lightly, "Where's Soph and Arya?" I ask, and Emery and Emmi start laughing, "They're going to run Jennifer over." They continue laughing, "They're what?"

Soph's POV:

"Hurry up the bell already rung." I nudge Arya, trying to get into Jennifer's car, "And she's about to cross the road." I keep an eye out so that we don't caught by anyone, "Ah ha I got it, she leans in the the driver's side and does some stuff with the wires and we hear the car start. "Okay I'm going to distract Jennifer and honk twice when you're going to hit her." I nod and I see Arya start walking away, "HEY LADIES GET TO CLASS THE BELL RANG!" Ah shit now we can't, I get out of the car and Arya looks at me disappointed, "I can't believe this." I groan, I walk to Arya and we walk back inside, "We can try again after school." She says wrapping her arm around my shoulder as we walk inside following Jennifer. "Yeah true we can try again later, and hopefully get it done." I laugh.

Quinn's POV:

I walk into class seeing Jennifer's seat open, I take my seat eyeing the door waiting for if she will walk in or not and low and behold I see her walk in, I guess they didn't run her over. I look away from and I stare down at my phone avoiding eye contact. I'm pissed, Just being around pisses me off and I wipe my mouth again. You can feel the tension between us and you can probably cut it with a knife, the teacher keeps looking our way but we didn't make eye contact once, not a single word shared. It was a painfully long period which finally ended, I hear the bell ring and the both of us make a bee line for the door. AH shit fucking 2nd period Ryan is in that class, but I have Daisy at least. I walk in seeing Ryan already in his seat, my day can't get any worse. "Hi." I hear him talk to me, be nice. Be. Nice. "Hey Ryan." I say back sitting down. I see Daisy walk in, she waves at me and takes her seat in front of my desk. "How are you doing?" She asks, turning around to face me, "I am still pissed not going to lie but the day is getting there you know, how about you?" I tell her, "I'm doing good this morning was interesting enough to keep me entertained for the rest of the day" She laughs. Class goes by pretty slowly, even Ryan tried to make small talk but I didn't engage, I was still pissed and honestly I don't think much will change that.
