The girls remained at Hagrid's hut for a few more moments, before it became so cold that they decided it would be best to return to the warmth of the Hogwarts castle. Even though the day hadn't been too busy, Hermione and Aria were both equally tired and so decided that it would be a good time to go to the Gryffindor common room to relax for a little while.

On their way into the castle, they came across Luna Lovegood. Her eyes brightened as they looked between Hermione and Aria. Luna smiled one of those sweet, serene smiles that Aria had grown so fond of. Luna appeared thoughtful for a moment, before she greeted the two of them kindly.

"How are you two feeling?" she asked, with an expression of interest.

"We're good," Hermione said.

Aria turned to her and her eyebrows folded together slightly.

"Speak for yourself. You don't have to go to the dance with Malfoy, of all people!" Aria exclaimed in annoyance.

At her outburst, Hermione and Luna turned to her with surprised eyes.

"Sorry," Aria said much more quietly. It was rare that she let her stress get on top of her but when it did, it became a little overwhelming. "I'm not doing this for me, anyway. I'm doing this for you all. We need to get information on Draco and I really don't understand why you think that I'm going to be suitable for this task but all I know is that I can try my best."

"I can understand why you're upset, Aria. If it makes you feel any better, I'm going with Blaise Zabini," Luna said then, which caused both Aria and Hermione to turn to her with expressions of shock. "He's not quite as bad as Malfoy, you know?" she added swiftly.

It didn't help settle down the girls' shocked expressions.

"Anyway! I have to go back to the Ravenclaw common room. You're more than welcome to come with," she said, with a sweet smile.

Aria agreed to this proposition, while Hermione said that she was going to go and spend some time in the Gryffindor common room. Thus, the girls bid each other farewell and Aria began to walk towards the Ravenclaw staircase with Luna.

Once the two girls had reached the Ravenclaw common room, they soon found Cho Chang nearby. Cho was one of few students who had actually returned to Hogwarts. She wanted to fight not only for Harry but in memory of Cedric Diggory, her dear friend and romantic interest that she had heartbreakingly lost in fourth year. Cho wanted to do all that she could to make him proud.

"Good afternoon, Cho," Luna greeted her, with a friendly smile.

Cho turned to Luna and smiled back at her, as she greeted her in return. Her eyes soon moved to Aria and she considered her with genuine interest.

"What have you two been up to?" she asked.

Aria spoke first.

"Hermione and I went to visit Hagrid and-" she cut off, as Cho looked as though she wanted to say something.

"Oh! How is Hagrid? I need to go down and help him with his pumpkin garden at some point," Cho explained.

"He's been well," Aria replied, with a kind expression.

Cho nodded at that, as a content expression formed on her face. If there was one thing that Cho had always taken great pride in, then it was helping her fellow students and professors at Hogwarts. She had wanted to help people out more than ever, after Cedric had passed on. She wanted to make him proud.

As she adjusted her blue and bronze striped tie a little, Cho suggested to Luna that the two of them get started on some preparation for the autumn dance.

Aria would have stayed to help them out but she had decided that she wanted to go and hide Malfoy's diary somewhere. Somewhere he wouldn't find it. She could tolerate her friends well enough but she couldn't tolerate Malfoy very well at all and she knew that his tolerance for her would diminish even further if he caught her half-blood hands on his precious diary. She felt tempted to scoff at the thought, in all honesty. Fancy Draco Malfoy of all people keeping a diary. She could hardly believe that he would have thought of such a thing, yet he had. His diary was still tucked away inside of her bag and Aria couldn't dream of taking it out of her cosy bag any time soon. It would be far too risky.

After she had said goodbye to the two Ravenclaw girls, Aria walked down the Ravenclaw tower's staircase and back into the main hallway, only to bump into Draco Malfoy once again.

"We really have to stop meeting like this," Aria said, as she tried to make light of an awkward situation.

Draco didn't look quite so amused.

"Oh, believe me. I intend on it," he said darkly. "I picked up your bloody book earlier and read a little bit of it..." he trailed off.

"And?" Aria asked him.

"And, you have got to be kidding me if you think that's actually literature," he said.

Aria frowned at him. She knew that he was only saying these things because it was a muggle book. Jane Austen was incredibly talented and Draco Malfoy clearly didn't have a clue what he was missing out on.

"It made millions in the muggle world, actually," Aria said, which managed to catch Malfoy's attention once again.

"It did?" he asked.

Aria nodded in answer to his question.

"Interesting," Draco said. "Anyway, I have already told you once before to keep out of my way, Hufflepuff. If you don't want me to keep lecturing you then-" he cut off then, as Aria interjected him.

"I understand that you don't want me around, Malfoy, but we are still attending this dance together and anyway, you have come and disrupted me enough times. Don't think that I'm going to stop doing the same any time soon," Aria said and with a flutter of her fingers, she walked on down the hallway away from him.

"Insufferable," Draco and Aria said at the same time, as they returned to their respective dormitories.
