Part one, weighing the situation
1, Take a step back. Consider your relationship and possible reactions from this person.

'Great', Atsumu thinks, 'Another few nights of questioning why Omi-Omi hates me so much at 3 am, and that step is as good as done.'

2, Make sure you mean it

Atsumu laughed. Oh yeah, he's been sure he means it forever now, this step isn't anything to worry about.

3, Be true in your intentions

The step continued to explain about how not to do it simply for attention, but Atsumu overlooks this one as well. Sure, he needs more attention than most people, but even he wasn't shallow enough to do something like that to someone he loved so much.

4, Ease into it

Again, Atsumu has been hinting and even being flat out obvious with his interests for the past few months, that's 'eased in' enough.

5, Be bold

Oh boy, he was good at bold, he would be bold. Bold was pretty much his middle name.

Part two, setting the scene

1, Choose a romantic setting

Atsumu pulled up google maps. Yeah, no place 'romantic' was at all suited for a germaphobe, so perhaps a dinner at his house after hours of cleaning would be considered romantic to someone like Sakusa.

2, Make it a meaningful moment

'Meaningful?' Atsumu thought. Meaningful was too vague. What's meaningful anyways? Sunsets? Air hugs, since he couldn't touch the other without asking first? What if he wrote it on a cake?

3, Make sure the two of you are alone

Atsumu glanced at the kitchen, spotting the knife stand. 'Wait no, there's other ways to get rid of 'Samu for the night.' Atsumu sent Suna a text telling him to invite his brother to a movie date or something, he would pay.

4, Plan the confession.

Okay, okay. He's had his speech written out for a month now, and it's been rehearsed several times in the mirror.

5, Have their full attention

'Okay - what does that mean? He's a germaphobe, part of his attention is always on staying clean. So have as much attention as I can, noted.'

Part three, confessing your love

1, Look into their eyes

'Easy, Omi's eyes are super pretty.'

2, Say I love you.

3, Kiss them

Through his mask?

4, Be patient

5, Be proud of yourself.

Okay, Atsumu is ready.

"Hey, Omi-Omi! Wanna come over for dinner tomorrow? I've gotten rid of 'Samu."

"Miya, what did you do to your brother?"

"Oh - I didn't mean it like that! He's on a date with Suna, and I cleaned!"

"How clean?"

"All the way clean! Vacuumed, disinfected, and everything!"

"Okay. I'll be there, what time?"

"6."

"Okay."

Step 1.4, ease into it

"You look nice!"

"Thank you, Miya. What did you make?"

"Spaghetti. Take a seat, I'll light the candles."

"How romantic, Miya."

'Of course,' Atsumu thought, 'I followed a wikihow to make a romantic scene.'

"Whatever you make of it."

"Wait! I love you!"

'Wait, no, that wasn't how it was supposed to go!'

"I - I like you too, Miya. That was.. Rather random. Is that what this dinner was about?"

Atsumu blushed, rubbing the back of his head sheepishly. "Yeah. And... You do?"

Sakusa smiled back. "Yeah, I do. I wouldn't just go to anyone's house, regardless of how much they say they've cleaned. I trust you."

"I'm flattered!"

Step 3.5, Be proud of yourself.

Atsumu was proud of himself.
